Saw it on another site, and could not believe my eyes. Suddenly him joking that he'll write till they put a nail into his coffin sounds quite macabre. Damn, that's too sad.

Hmm, shocking news. I hope he pulls through it all. From what I red, he is being treated in a very good hospital/clinic. Lets hope it helps!

Pardon my cynicism, but I hope he keeps good notes. Regardless of what he says, Mr. Jordan is not likely to live much longer.

Robert Jordan Gravely Ill

 

At first I was wondering who Robert Jordon Gravely the Third (III) was

 

Sounds like he is in a tight spot. He is correct in that life expectancy predictions can be way off. For all we think we know, we really don't know squat, ergo, licensed to practice.

 

Given the direction of the wheel of time series, one might wonder if his illness may not have been unconciously steering the course of the story along shall we say less than interesting lines. I've seen situations where undiagnosed illnesses have manifested themselves in odd behavior patterns or tangential lines of thought.

 

Here is to hoping he pulls through.
