Echon
The Unsellable flag does not have any effect at all. I was going to report a list of item types with which it did work, but then it dawned on me that the store would not buy them (all the items I had written down were those it was set not to purchase). This is how BioWare made items unsellable in Baldur's Gate, and not by using the flag. -Echon Link to comment
Avenger
I think that flag first meant critical item (indestructible). Later they changed the stores to not buy these items. Link to comment
devSin
I think it also moves the item to Player1 if a PC with the item is kicked out of the party, similar to BG2. But, yeah, flagging unsellable doesn't actually prevent the item(s) from being sold. Link to comment
Smoketest
That's why I renamed the flag to "Quest". It fits the function better, even if it does prevent the sale of an item in games other than BG1. In BG1 sale of an item is usually prevented by setting it's sale value to zero. Link to comment
