Kulyok
It's not a romantic dialogue per se, rather, it's a regular PC-NPC banter. (It belongs to the original Branwen's author.) "Pins" here comes from "I speak of small, very brief pinpricks of... uncertainty... that come and go as a snowflake in the warm sun's rays." Link to comment
EiriktheScald
Speaking of... there's an amusing PC initiated banter in which he recites a poem comparing Branwen to snow. Inspired, I wrote my own. I look at you, and I think of snow. Flakes gently, Unexpectedly Descending. First one, and then another, Gracefully. Like the simple acts of kindness You bestow. Of myriad Stars, Suspended. Their light reflected in your eyes -- Azure blue, The sparkle of joy they hold within Warms me. Resting softly, Slowly Melting. Waiting for a perfect moment of Tenderness. Your lips moist, pressed against Mine. Do you think she would like it? Link to comment
EiriktheScald
Slightly off-topic, I know, but I feel like Odin himself -- a valkyrie by my side! Branwen has in her inventory 'Fallorain's Plate' (her AC is -3), Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise and 'Ashideena' (War Hammer). This item came to mind when I read this: *Branwen's right arm slips around your own waist, and you feel a slight electric shock as her hammer bumps against your hip. She withdraws hastily.* I am sorry, my friend. Were you thinking the same thing kulyok? Well what do you know, this isn't off-topic after all. Link to comment
Kulyok
Possibly. Reminds me of Kelsey's "That was definitely not the Staff of the Magi pressing into your hip." Although I wasn't thinking about the guy when I wrote this. Link to comment
EiriktheScald
My lady, you leave me speechless! *mumbles to self* A speechless skald indeed; 'tis a thing unheard of! *shakes head* Link to comment
cmorgan
Reports of typos and interjections you have listed here have now been fixed in v12. I added the 90 minute timers, and then realized that this may be plenty for us deep-immersion players, EiriktheScald; that extra 30 minutes between LT/Flirts, etc. adds up fast! Link to comment
EiriktheScald
I'm curious about a couple of things: Quoting Branwen, "I would like to visit a shrine to Tempus, if we come across one." Is there a temple to be found? There's also another instance when she comments about being near the sea, and would like to visit. Is there something to that? These dialogues, I find puzzling. There're a few Temples of Helm around, though - I think Ajantis might even comment in one of them. There's also another instance when she comments about being near the sea, and would like to visit. Is there something to that? Candlekeep is located near the sea, even if the water doesn't actually show on the map. The talk triggers next to the very entrance... so, basically, to fulfill Branwen's request, just go around the outer wall. She won't say anything... but you'll have done it for her. Link to comment

Except that this occurred in the cloakwood, where the spider-queen is located -- it is near the sea also. Link to comment
Domi
It's probably misfired. If that's the Candlekeep talk, it should trigger on CK map. Try clicking on Branwen, see if any of the dialogues got "cached". Happens sometimes, if you have a busy game. Link to comment

If we have time, I'd like to inhale the sea air once more." It was triggered after entering the spider map. If you go further down the screen you can see water and hear the waves. It made me wonder if I was really supposed to take her near the sea for additional dialogue, or something. Link to comment
EiriktheScald
I think Branwen prefers my hair styling, to Coran's Coran: Branwen, your hair is like a piece of gold. Allow me to be a master smith and shape it into a crown of a rare magnificence. Branwen: The Lord of Battle cares not for my appearance! The deeds of valor are what the Battleguards of Tempus are regarded for. Coran: It might help to attract attention of your savage god. Branwen: Tempus sees my fury in battle and bravery! That is how I shall find his favor. Coran: But you might as well give him an idea on why female clergy might be something he is missing among his toils. It is your goal, after all... Branwen: I'll spare none of my time on such folly. I am warrior born, not a concubine. Coran: Oh, I would not be so sure. He is still a man... *Before this conversation takes a turn for the worse, I walk over and ruffle Branwen's hair* *Branwen peers into my face, adjusting her hair and looking at her reflection in my eyes.* Branwen: Hmm... you have skill, Eirik. Would you be willing to become my hairdresser? Eirik: You already have the best hairdresser in the world... (it's the wind, from a previous dialogue) Hmm... EiriktheHairdresser? On second thought, maybe not Link to comment
