Lemernis
If you did not select a timer for a romance, does it nevertheless click in after a default amount of time has passed? The romance timer time periods all looked very short to me--like they're intended for players who want the romance to engage quickly. I'm fine having it take it's own sweet time, so I did not select one. But now at day 32 into the game (and having gotten Dyna pretty early on), nothing is happening. Do I need to run the Banter Pack setup again and select a time period for the romance timer? Link to comment
cmorgan
Nope, in BG1NPC v11 if you skip the timers, the default timer (1 hour real-time minimum between talks becoming available) is installed. The choices are there to shorten it or reset it to default (1 hour). The key here is that it sets "minimum" time before the next talk - you can't set your clock by it! Link to comment
Domi
Some of the talks require specific conditions to be met fire. If you'd like to check out the conditions for every talk and orient yourself for where you are in the romance, the Romance Guide included with the install has that information for all 6 romances.
