Guest berelinde
Please help. I've installed EasyTutu, and it works just fine. I wanted to enhance the experience with the NPC Project (especially the one with the banters and romances), and it installs fine, but nothing happens in my game! Imoen's portrait is still the same. I am only on day 1, so I haven't encountered any other NPCs to see what happens with them, but I'm thinking that if I told it to change Imoen's portrait to the BG2 one, and it didn't, I've done something wrong. I followed all the default directory options. What have I done wrong? Is there anything I can do to fix this? Link to comment
Macready
Hello - Did you in fact install BG1NPC to your EasyTutu folder (C:\Program Files\BaldursGateTutu by default), and not to your BG2 folder? EasyTutu creates a separate installation -- it is not uncommon for this to be overlooked. Link to comment
Bohemund
When you loot Gorion's scroll, does Imoen initiate a dialogue with you? If so, then everything installed fine. Other early banters would include Imoen speaking to you upon entering Beregost. Trust me, there is a LOT of banters, but you need NPCs in your party to hear them The NPC Project does not change portraits of party members, but it does add portraits to non-joinable NPCs that you speak to. Volo and Greywolf comes to mind. Link to comment
Domi
The NPC Project does not change portraits of party members, but it does add portraits to non-joinable NPCs that you speak to. Volo and Greywolf comes to mind. Actually, there is a component that allows you to switch the returning NPCs portraits to BG2 versions (ie Jaehira, Imoen, Minsc, Viconia, Edwin). And, I think that Macready is pinpointing the problem here. He'd know. The easiest way to check if BG1NPC project is installed is to click on the NPC, and see if s/he has PIDs. Link to comment
Guest berelinde
It was my fault. I'm a dolt. Like I said, I installed everything to the default directory BGII--SoA. *Not* the Tutu directory. I have corrected my transgressions, and everything is working as it should. Thank you, everyone, for your speedy replies. In this case, as usual, it was operator error. Link to comment
