Guest Diamanda
I have question about possible endings in Aklon mod. I am asking because I have small suggestion. I think that would be nice if Aklon did't abandon player when she choose to be godness. She could share her immortality with him or just be together with him till his death. I hate sad endings and I hate when my lover leaves me because I chose to be godness! It makes me cry ... Link to comment
Menelanna
the guy leaving you? aren't YOU leaving him since you CHOSE to become a goddess? I could never let my char become a goddess (well I do it once per romance just to see the dialog) because I feel horrid for leaving the man of my character dreams just for a little something like godhood. BigRob
Menelanna does have a point, in that by taking up Bhaal's mantle, you choose to leave your lover and mortality behind. However, one could also say that you have no choice in the matter, that it's destiny, illusion of choice or not. But what will Aklon say, do you think? I'm not going to give out too many spoilers on specific endings (and I have several in mind at present), but a CHARNAME choosing to ascend will be able to ask Aklon "Why don't you come with me?". I can't guarantee that you won't cry on any of the endings though, leave or stay. Link to comment

It is not that I am so egoistic that I want Aklon and the immortality. I just really dislike sad endings and that would be really nice change to the other mods. Link to comment

Tarayani
From the 'Comments on Progress Reports' thread: But that should be hopefully a summer release, as in hopefully a southern hemisphere summer release... meaning a winter release for all you Northerners. Yeah, still a little while to go yet, unfortunately. *Grumbles about reversed seasons* Link to comment
berelinde
You may note that he does not specify the summer of what year. I try to be a patient person. I want to be a patient person. Maybe if I practice enough..... Link to comment

Maybe if I practice enough..... As someone who decided to make an NPC for her own amusement, let me say that there is an ENORMOUS amount of work involved in making one, and I cannot begin to imagine how much work is involved in a project of the scope of Aklon. I am just grateful that Rob is taking his free time to make Aklon for us. I will also try to be patient until he is released and will definitely be ECSTATIC when that happens! Thanks again! berelinde
Oh, I fully understand the amount of work involved, and am content to wait as long as it takes. There's plenty to do in the meantime. As for other male romance options, try Kivan. Link to comment
BigRob
Thanks for the continued interest everyone. I know the writing's taking a while, but I'm on the home stretch now, and I'll try to keep hustling forward. I'm about half way through developing the romance between Aklon and Aerie, and there will be two similarly large interactions with other NPCs. However, the rest of the material should flow fairly quickly as I get the quests and interjections sorted out. I'm knocking on wood for it to be this year. Link to comment
