St_Vitruvius
When assigning an AC-bonus to an item in BG2 I can choose it to be against: All weapons Crushing Piercing Slashing edit: Missile Does that mean the game doesn't recognize arrows as piercing and bullets as crushing? And that I can make a bonus to melee-weapons by adding ac-bonus against Crushing, Piercing and Slashing? Link to comment

As far as I know, all ranged weapons do Missile damage, with the possible exceptions of Throwing Axes (Slashing) and the Throwing Hammer (Blunt). Yes, you can tweak the AC vs. Weapon Types however you want. An interesting factoid is that while the engine will not recognize an AC lower than -24 (tack on all the bonuses you want, it ain't gettin' any lower), you go as low as you want by manipulating the AC vs. Weapon Type modifiers. NiGHTMARE
Even throwing axes and throwing hammers do missile damage in their ranged attacks. Link to comment
