Problem with character animation

I started having this problem 2 weeks ago.

The problem is that I can't see my character animation.

When I move my party I see this:

 

I noticed that there is this error after the character creation, while the game is starting:

 

Finally, when I go to the inventory screen of my character, the game freezes.

The strange thing is that there aren't problems with the animation of the other creatures.

I cannot read the number in the log, but it is very important too. (the invalid/nonexistent avatar entry)

The number is 63C9. I was playing an half-elf fighter. However I had the same error also with other races or classes (for example halflings/thief or human/mage).

It looks pretty neat, though. Like Tempest or Battlezone or some other classic vector game suddenly invaded BG2.

I had that error once myself. I thought I just really screwed up the build process.

 

Always makes me feel better when things aren't my fault ^_^
