"Nicht dumme Version" is a careful attempt of a translation. The term is ambiguous and I don't know, what the component is doing.

it means that it doesn't feature 4th wall breakage and doesn't look like a bug. If you can do this without Dawg noticing, you should stick in there as many 'do not install this!' warnings as possible.

The original Faster Chapter 1&2 Cutscenes were, uh, outstandingly out of place. For example, the opening cutscene featured the player saying 'You aren't going to throw rocks at me, now, are you?' (a line from Noober) to which Irenicus responds 'I wanna go to the Underdark! I've heard there's cool stuff there!' (from one of the random kids in the game). The dialogue at the Promenade cutscene is equally silly. The new option for the shorter cutscenes really is a shortened version of the cutscenes, rather than a shortened version with silly lines inserted.

My apologies, I just added three more strings to the first post (the three starting with @216xxx). the bigg just finished coding a really, really nifty bit of proficiency tweaking that changes BG2 to use the old BG-style proficiencies (Large Sword, Blunt, Bow, etc.) that can be used in Tutu, BGT, or even plain BG2. It's being combined with the Rebalanced Weapon Proficiencies Tweak into a larger tweak.

I saw the new added lines too late:

Because of the re-arranged lines in BG2 Tweak Pack and some extra lines, the included german files are unusable.

I have already sent you already two times the updated german files together with the P#KHALID.TRA (was never translated into german) and the german read-me.

 

Why don't you use them?
