St_Vitruvius
http://iesdp.gibberlings3.net/ieformats/itm_v1.htm What about unuseability flags used in kits? Link to comment
St_Vitruvius
Thanks.. I had given him unusability flag like he was an Archer.. Now it's set to "0x00004000 2" -> Same as parent class. Are there any possibillity to create you own flags? Or is it impossible? Link to comment
Idobek
It isn't possible. Several people (including Cam) have rearranged flags to free up one that they can use (the Jester's IIRC). It is probably more trouble that it is worth though since it creates a load of compatiblity problems. Link to comment
St_Vitruvius
Could I check for class/race/kit/npc-or-pc in a script and have certain blocks of codes run? Like creating a script for Imoen where she checks your class/race/kit. Then, when she opens the cell door in the dungeon, have her say: Imoen: Oh by the way, I found you personal sword i the room next door.. Here take it.. Then, on the sword have a script checking if it's the pc using the sword: if not -> npc takes damage or dies! That would be an item "restriction".. Link to comment
Idobek
Yes, that is possible. I think Chloe uses a similar method for her personal swords. Link to comment
