geethreeuser
what is the "cleric" equivalent of a "sorcerer" That is, a divine magic specialist class. Functionally speaking that would be-- casting any known cleric/druid spells at any time so long as you have the 'castings' (on a 'per level' basis) left to do so. I am not sure what to call this concept to distinguish from the standard cleric/druid: "shaman" "(un)holyman" "spiritualist" Would this even work in BG? Link to comment
Grim Squeaker
Would this even work in BG? Nope. The sorceror casting rules are hardcoded into the class. Link to comment
Andyr
In 3.5E pen and paper there's a Favoured Soul, which is vaguely similar to what you describe. I think they have a limited spell list and gradually become more like Outsiders as they progress... Not feasible for BG2, though. Link to comment
