Creating a Banner

I've been thinking about creating a banner for our mod to link to our forums. Let me know what you think and what ideas and images (if any) you would want the banner to have. Don't hold your breath waiting on it though because I'm going to use this as an opportunity to work on my graphics skills (which are pretty poor at the moment).

I've actually been working on a banner for the TeamBG site. Their banner size limit is rather small (150x80), but I can easily make a larger version for elsewhere. Anyway, tell me what you think of this:

I had thought perhaps of trying something with a more flowing, handwriting style. Maybe something like one of Khayman's parchment entries to the FW contest, but saying Lands of Intrigue?

I like the banner but maybe jazz it up with some illustrations in the background. Of the ones Andy listed I liked the parchment style one the best.
