I knew Tiax was insane but...

So, I chose the option to move Tiax, Alora etc. to more convienient locations, met Tiax in Beregost, talked to him, there said the normal first lines (You are destined to stand beside me etc., yes or no?), then... nothing.

No responses just a continue button (continue or end dialogue, I can't remember which). I clicked it, it ended the dialogue, and now he has nothing to say.

Hmm, I don't think any of them interjected with Tiax; it could be a good idea to search the dialogue files for all EXTEND_BOTTOMs and see if anything highjacks _TIAX.DLG and has a missing condition EXTERNing the dialogue into a character's file of an NPC who is not present in the party (I am thinking of Shar-Teel mostly).

Though at any rate he *should not* really give you silent treatment after that.

If you are playing Trilogy it could be a weird overlap of BG2 dialogue over BG1, seeing how Tiax is present in both games.

Well, I hope Cmorgan can drop by and give it a quick check, starting with Shar.

I am trying to free up some time to help - sorry it is taking awhile - it may not be for another week ;)

i can confirm he did not do this on my test; GD, you are using EasyTutu and a pretty vanilla install, as usual, right?

awesome... now I just have to figure out what you mean :)

I think you are saying that I have already fixed this. Take a look at the alpha site in about 15 minutes, and I will have a working internal version that (supposedly) fixes all ICT and ICT2, etc. to a standardized InParty/InMyArea/!CD_SNV check (plus a host of oher fixes I am still working on. Spent 9 hours tody, expecting to spend about 4 more tomorrow before playtesting, then cleanup Friday.

/edit-

ok, latest internal is up; all of pro5's fixes are integrated as well as most of the materials in the open workroom thread. Un-playtested, but it installs!

What I meant was that the bug was caused by Garrick not being able to interject, because he wasn't in the area, in which case a "standardized InParty/InMyArea/!CD_SNV check" probably fixed it.

I have to say again, that I know absolutely nothing about BG modding, but I remember seeing something like InArea somewhere, lol.
