Nythrun
This does remind me, there's a goodly portion of single target attack spells where the .vvc or lighting effects don't check against magic resistance but the remainder of the effects do (Dolorous Decay, Flamestrike, et alis). There are enough counterexamples for standardisation to go either way: I picked "consistently check", but it's difficult to say for certain. Link to comment
devSin
In the case of flame strike, it's because the VVC is used as the new (fake) projectile. It should always run, even if the target doesn't actually get hit. IIRC, there aren't enough of these inconsistencies to really worry about it. Link to comment
Nythrun
I don't think scrl08 needs changing What kind of ninny would say that? Fixed. Link to comment
CamDawg
There were some slight issues I had to sort with the spell patching code--in the course of it, I had to replace all of your nice, compact variable names with cams_obnoxiously_long_variables_but_understandable_to_him names so I could sort out where it was going wonky. At any rate, this is added to the beta fixes for v2. Link to comment
