Guest gkathellar
Alright, I'm something of a noob in this field, so I may be missing something crucial, but whenever I try to launch the file "Setup-Oversight.command", I get the following message: "The .command file '/Users/marckagan/Desktop/Games/BGII - ToB/Setup - Oversight.command' could not open. Most likely it is not executable." Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment
BigRob
I believe that a command file should be executable, so it is possible that the file has been corrupted somehow. Try downloading the mod again (prefereably from a different mirror) and see if that fixes things. Link to comment
Guest gkathellar
Tried. Several times. No change - I always get the same bug. For note, I'm running this on 10.3, but I also tried it on a 10.4 computer with the same results. Link to comment
CamDawg
You need to mark setup-oversight and setup-oversight.command as executable. Some of the decompression tools on OS X (UnRarX and others) remove these flags, causing install to fail with the message you're receiving. It's been a while since I've been at the console, but IIRC chmod +x filename at the Terminal window will do it. Link to comment
Guest gkathellar
Thanks. Didn't need the code - the advice about UnRar was enough. When I opened the file with Stuffit, it worked fine. Link to comment
