Guest Erik
According to the description, roger the fence should have a potion case after installing the 'add bags of holding' component. However, he doesn't have it. I've gone through his wares, nothing. Finished his quest, nothing. Killed him, not in his loot. Tried reinstalling the component, nothing. Did the cheat, CLUAConsole:CreateItem("[item name]") with "cdpotion", and the item pops up in my inventory, so the component is added alright. I'd prefer it being in the game than having to go through the cheat modus to get it. Guest Guest
Oye, should add that this install is SoA only, no ToB. But latest patch installed. Link to comment
CamDawg
Thanks, I'll check it out. Had you already visited Roger in the game before installing Tweaks? In the meantime, you could cheat it into the game with the console: CLUAConsole:CreateItem("cdpotion") Link to comment
Kulyok
In my game, a potion case was added to Mrs Cragmoon's inventory. (Bridge district) Link to comment
Guest Guest
Hey- I added the tweak pack after already having started a new game, but did not visit roger the fence before (installed it around just the start of chapter 2). Haven't checked yet if starting a new game will actually make it turn up.. Thanks, I'll check it out. Had you already visited Roger in the game before installing Tweaks? Guest Erik
In my game, a potion case was added to Mrs Cragmoon's inventory. (Bridge district)Hey, I just checked and yep it's there alright. So I guess either the description is wrong, or it has been given to the wrong person . Thx for the info. Link to comment
Guest Erik
As mentioned below, it apparantly resides at the bridge district instead of roger the fence.. I'll leave it in the middle if this was the original intent or not Link to comment
CamDawg
The readme says Roger has it, but the code indeed adds the potion case to Mrs. Cragmoon. Smooth, Cam, real smooth. I'm really agnostic as to who should have it here, as both Roger and Mrs. Cragmoon are potion specialists. Players have any preference? Link to comment
ronin69hof
I'm really agnostic as to who should have it here, as both Roger and Mrs. Cragmoon are potion specialists. Players have any preference? How about both of them having it. The the player can choose to where he goes first to get it. For example I rarely go to the sewers until late and hit the bridge district first so it would benefit me to find it there. ronin Link to comment
Luiz
Cragmoon gets my vote, if only because Roger can be killed if all hell breaks loose in the battle with the "robber" party in the North of the sewers. (Rare, but can happen.) Link to comment
Kulyok
Roger is my vote, because he has ten potions of healing, so my party is sure to stop by. Before my tenth playthrough or so, I wasn't even aware of Mrs Cragmoon(and she is not available at all hours, either, I believe). Link to comment
Gorilym
I'd let Mrs. Cragmoon keep the case. I think of Roger as a fence who for some reason carries a large stock of potions (the "some reason" being quite beautifully extrapolated in the related QP component), while Mrs. Cragmoon actually makes the potions she sells. Well, that's my impression anyway. Link to comment
pro5
I'd say Mrs.Cragmoon has a higher chance of being "removed" from the game, than Roger (you can report her as illegal magic user to Aegsfield or Cowlies, don't remember). Link to comment
Guest erik
Mrs. Cragmoon. She'd be more likely to care. Link to comment
Grug Greyskin
I say both, but if it has to be one, Roger is there all hours of the day, so I prefer him. Link to comment
