Shapeshifter Rebalancing - Time Limit?

I have the shapeshifter rebalance component installed and the shapeshifter paw disappears from Cernd's inventory after a set amount of time (I am estimating 5 turns, maybe 10). Then he is unable to create another paw until he rests.

 

Is this what it is supposed to do? I had this component installed from Ease of Use a while back, and basically you only had to create the paw one time, then just equip or unequip it as you saw fit, the theory being that a shapeshifter had masted lycanthropy and could change shape at will. I thought this was essentially the same mod.

No, the paws shouldn't be limited in any way. I don't see anything in your install list that should be interfering with them... I'll check it out.

Thanks, I am going to try uninstalling and reinstalling that component to see if anything changes.

I reinstalled the Shapeshifter component and that seems to have fixed it.

 

Using a save game prior to meeting up with Cernd, I quickly went to Trademeet, picked him up, and the mod seemed to be working fine.

 

With my current save (with Cernd in the party, unshifted), I still had time limits with the first set of paws I made. So I rested once, and subsequent conjurations of the paws now appear to be unlimited.

 

Not sure why this was happening, but I believe I am good to go now.
