: Icewind Dale Fixpack v10 Released

The Icewind Dale Fixpack is designed to fix several bugs and errors that remain in the game after the official patches have been applied. Version 8 fixes a nasty bug in non-How games as well as a few other minor fixes. The Fixpack works with or without the expansions Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster installed. In fact, many issues quietly fixed by Heart of Winter or Trials of the Luremaster have been rolled back to every version of the game.

Version 10 addresses a crash introduced by the Fixpack, and also incorporates many new fixes uncovered by the EE Fixpack. Download the mod, learn more about it on the project page or readme, or join us on the forums or Discord.

: P&P Celestials v9 Now Available

This mod modifies the Devas and Planetars that are summoned by the player so they gain most of their Monster Manual abilities and stats. I have taken some small liberties in how I adapted some of these abilities. Since the devas and planetars that are summoned are level 25 creatures and the monster manual lists them as much lower level creatures, I have chosen a class for each of the creatures and increased their statistics according to their class.

Version 8 is due to the hard work of TotoR who, with Caedwyr's blessing, tracked down and fixed a lot of the old bugs and made a number of overall improvements. As if that wasn't enough, the mod now has a nice, new cosmetic component (based on Spell Revisions), a preview of which is available on the project page or readme. Version 9 fixes a fairly egregious bug in v8.

Grab v8 from the download center. You can learn more about the mod from its readme or project page, or come talk about it on the forums or Discord.

: G3 Introduces Morpheus562's Kitpack

G3 is pleased to welcome a new project from morpheus562: Morpheus562's Kitpack! From morpheus562 himself:

"These kits are inspired from various areas to include 5e subclasses and NWN2 Prestige Classes. I would like to explicitly note the phenomenal work that Kaedrin did with introducing many new Prestige Classes to NWN2 and I borrow from his work to bring them into the Infinity Engine. There is more to come, but what is listed below is fully functional."

Version 1.0 is now available in English and French. Learn more about the mod on its project page or readme (English, French), or come and discuss the mod on the forum or Discord.

: Version 16 of The Tweaks Anthology Now Available

The Tweaks Anthology is a WeiDU compilation of nearly 200 components of cosmetic changes, house rules, and other tweaks. Some of these were fan requests, others are needed changes, and others simply make dealing with the more irritating aspects of the game engine easier. Each component can be installed separately so the player can pick and choose only which ones they wish to install.

Version 16 features one new component, updated French and Russian translations, and a mess of bugfixes. Download v16 straight away or read more about the mod in the readme or project page, or come and chat with us on the forums or Discord.

: Unfinished Business for Icewind Dale v10 Released

Like its predecessors for Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II, Unfinished Business for Icewind Dale aims to restore content and quests that were omitted from the game as shipped. The additional content in this mod is based on what I can piece together from various game resources and from talking with former developer JE Sawyer on the Obsidian forums. Later, through my work with Beamdog, I was able to secure some of the original quest design notes and further refine the restorations. Version 10 features a new component for the Vale of Shadows--credit for spotting and restoring this goes to Graion Dilach.

: Tactics Remix Joins G3!

Tactics, originally from Wes Weimer and a number of other authors, was a mod for the original Baldur's Gate II that added a number of difficult encounters and substantially improved AI for enemies. With Wes's permission morpheus562 has created Tactics Remix, based the original Tactics mod, that adds quite a few optional, but difficult, encounters to BG2:EE and EET aimed to make the game more challenging and rewarding.

A first alpha, v0.1, is available in the download section. You can also learn more about the mod on its project page or readme, or join us on Discord.

: The Gibberlings Three Welcomes the Moebius Toolkit

G3 is pleased to welcome the Moebius Toolkit, a new game tool from suy. The Moebius Toolkit, one part of a larger Moebius Project, is a desktop application (with a web-based alternative for your convenience) which consists of a set of loosely related modules. All of them have been useful while playing and discussing the Baldur’s Gate games, mostly for powergaming, balance checking (e.g. for mod creators), discussing the design of the videogames and AD&D 2nd Edition or just satisfying my curiosity. Hand in hand with hosting the Moebius Toolkit, G3 has added a Theorycrafting forum for discussing character and party builds or comparing equipment, as well as support for the Moebuis Toolkit itself.

Grab the tool from the download page. Learn more about Moebius on its project page, website, or readme, or come discuss the tool with us on the forums or Discord.

: G3 welcomes The Boareskyr Bridge Scene, a mod for Siege of Dragonspear (both BGEE and EET)!

G3 welcomes The Boareskyr Bridge Scene, a mod for Siege of Dragonspear in direct compatibility with both BGEE and EET!

The mod gives more impact to the important scene at Boareskyr Bridge in SoD. Like Gorion's letter and the PC's dreams in BG1, the transformation into the slayer in SoA, and the trials in ToB, this scene is an important part of the PC's journey to godhood (or rejection of it). This mod tries to place emphasis on this scene by giving it more depth as well as deeper inclusion into the story by reactions of NPCs and other game characters.

There will be more warnings before going to the bridge and NPCs will react to what happens on it, and depending on the installed components the actual scene will also be extended with description text and choices for the player how the PC will deal with the erupting divine energy including resulting stat changes.

: G3 welcomes Another fine Hell, a new mod for Siege of Dragonspear (BGEE or EET)

G3 welcomes Another fine Hell, a new mod for Siege of Dragonspear in a BG:EE or EET setting! The mod is still in development and will have BGII content in later versions, but content for SoD is finished.

This mod introduces a new reason why the PC falls at the end of SoD and has to leave town. For this, events after the slayer-dream-sequence are altered accordingly. The mod does not introduce a new catastrophe or frame work, it just uses what is already happening at Dragonspear basement and gives said events a new focus in people's perception of the PC's power and possible posed threat in combination with their divine heritage.

: The Calling Updated to Version 2

The Calling really started as a collection of random questions from BG—why didn't anyone take over the gnoll stronghold, considering the two bordering nations are on the brink of war? How come the only class-specific quests in the game are with Narlen Darkwalk? Why isn't Melicamp used more? Designed originally to be a series of class-related quests, it's now being released as quests get developed and completed. At present one quest is available, along with an item pack and a peaceful resolution to some TotSC content. Version 2 fixes a small bug from the previous release.
