Logically speaking, shouldn't it affect at least Fire Shields (both Red and Blue) + Tactics/SCS Improved Bodhi's Deathly Shroud (IBODHI7D.SPL, a variation of Fire Shield Blue) in BG2? Shroud of Flame and salamander auras are very similar to FS.
As it stands, the spell is horrendously underpowered. Extinguishing the auras was the whole point of this spell in IWD, it wasn't famous for the tremendous damage it deals
In IWD, it's 'situational, but cool', given how dangerous ice and fire salamanders are. In BG2 it's just useless in its current form, sadly.
