Excellent question! That was a VERY long time ago. Let me get back to you...

  1. Was the cause of the issue or a workaround ever determined? Much obliged!
  2. So I think I may have an issue. I've started a new EET game and I've installed the multi-class kits and the NPC component. Jaheira does not have her kit though, even after doing the initial level up once I've met her at the Friendly Arm and added her to the party. I've looked at the link you posted a page or two back concerning the FnP NPC stuff but I only have a vague idea of what I'm looking at. I've also looked at my Weidu log install order and the component was installed after the primary FnP stuff. Do I actually have an issue or does she get the kit later? I can choose multi-class kits at startup so they're there, just don't seem to be applying to NPCs, at least not the first one I've met. Edit - Wait...is she assigned an actual named kit or just a fighter/druid "kit"? I'm not seeing a named kit for her in the FnP NPC stuff you linked to earlier. Let me see if I can find someone else to add who should have a named kit... Edit2 - OK nevermind, Viconia has her kit. I thought Jaheira was supposed to have a named one, I've been looking at so many mods lately that I guess I confused FnP with another.
  3. Hi all. So I've been putting together a couple of EET builds and while both, so far, seem to run correctly in a general sense I'm not seeing everything I think I should from the mods installed. I'm trying to determine if I want to stick with EE Mod Setup or give Project Infinity a try. Both have their pros and cons I know. It's been a LONG while since I did anything with BG and while it was intimidating at first, things are starting to come back and I'm feeling more comfortable. OK starting to ramble, my question is does the Weidu log show how the mods were installed? It looks like it might but the PI page instructions for making a "sorting order" file make it seem like that may not be the case. I think the issues I'm having are probably load order issues but I'm not sure what order EE Mod Setup installed the mods in. I could just start building something from scratch for PI but I'm trying to get at least enough of an idea of how things work under the hood in general so that I can say I know enough to be dangerous . And honestly PI is really appealing to my control tendencies but I also hate reinventing the wheel if what I have can be relatively easily modified. Hopefully that all made sense... EDIT - After further investigation I think I've answered my own question. It does show the install order. Please correct me if I'm wrong though!
  4. Thanks doc for your reply! I hadn't gotten very far in my game so I'm just going to do a fresh install of everything. Besides I find myself wanting to add a few things and take away a few others even after the brief time I've been playing with my current build. Your multi-class options in-particular have really grown on me. Gonna be a process but I enjoy it...which, I suppose, speaks to my mental state
  5. So, after reading through this thread seems I've done a few things I technically shouldn't have. I haven't played BG in AGES so I used Roxanne's EET installer but so far things seem to be OK. Let me get to a point again where I even vaguely think I know what I'm doing mod install wise and I'll see about going back to manually installing things. What I'm primarily concerned about is I also used the "Make druidic shapeshifting uninterruptible" component from aTweaks and the "Treat all innate abilities as Non-Magical" component from Klatu. Is there a simple way to remove those at this point? Was hoping it would simply be a matter of text editing but that doesn't appear to be the case. I also did a cursory look for removing components thru Weidu but nothing leapt out at me solution wise. Excellent work btw! Really love what's being done here. And thank you in advance kind lords and ladies for any assistance.
