  1. I am playing easytutu classic and my current save is I'd guess corrupted. After having already travelled to south beregost rd, completed some of the area and left, when I attempt to return to AR3800 (FW3800 in tutu) game crashes to desktop. ObjCreature.cpp assertion failure. Gets about a 1/3 of the way loaded then crashes. I've already tried using Miloch's area-test and also used DLTCEP to individually remove all actors. Also, an earlier save works fine. I am using a few mods but they've all been stable in the past. The save is probably just screwed. My question is has anyone run into this in their past (current?) playthroughs of ancient easytutu classic? Was there a remedy you happened to run into? Or a known cause I am ignorant of? Thank you
  2. Thank you both. Just been adding the "cast previously" part into the spell file using dltcep. Everything seems alright but I'll dig deeper as you guys suggested if I'm forced to. Thanks again!
  3. Hey - I am on a bg2 classic install. Using mods bg2 fixpack, ascension, rogue rebalancing, cdtweaks, scs, atweaks (in that order). Some spells cause game to crash. I've been using a workaround where I remove the spell from override and replace it with a version from my previous tutu install. This works but the only problem is that it no longer shows as "cast previously" when facing scs mages/clerics etc. After my workaround, the spells work (for example, Protection from Normal Missiles will show its purple cylinder on an scs mage and apply its protection, it just won't show that it's been cast previously). Below is the what pops in my tobex log each time there's a crash. Is there a more generalized fix for this? Any insight is appreciated. Yes I am aware I'm using an old install and that I should probably just be on ee at this point I can provide my weidu if necessary. CEffectSetStat::ApplyEffect(): Tried to set a stat with index < 387 (expected 387-4213) Thank you!
  4. Hey, I understand and I appreciate your response. Was just wondering really, there's nothing that leads me to believe it isn't working per se - it just struck me that I'd have no way of knowing if it wasn't and figured I'd ask. Minor thing, no worries if no real way to tell.
  5. BG1 tutu classic I am interested in figuring out if Additional Racial Traits for Dwarves/Gnomes from aTweaks is applying correctly. I did turn on (and left on) Party AI. None of my characters have AI scripts enabled though. Is there a way to "sure fire" know that the racial traits have been applied? Thank you
  6. Unfortunately no changes show on the character sheet with either my item or yours. I tried your item on a cavalier. I am using non-ee. EasyTutu. I tried turning on Extra Combat Info=1 in ini to try and get it to show but I saw nothing as far as I could tell. Is something like this just a hidden modifier in classic bg/bg2? Now I'm just curious heh.
  7. Angel - I literally had the same setup and thank you. I'm wondering then if where I went wrong was in my testing. I didn't see any changes in my character sheet to indicate a to-hit bonus and when using the weapon with to-hit feedback dialogue I didn't notice any difference either. So then how did you see that you didn't just have an eff setup with no actual change in-game? It's entirely possible I'm just looking for the wrong thing or looking in the wrong spot for my proof.
  8. So a sword that can be used by any class that would normally be able to use it but for certain classes it gives a to-hit bonus. I've been trying to play with class IDS and Use EFF File but can't get it. Thank you.
