  1. Is there a max sounds at a time setting somewhere? Maybe in the Windows OpenAL? When my party is in battle, the battle cries cut each eachother off. So, Minsc shouts, "GO!" a lot and then another battlecry starts and cuts him off, usually followed by another that cuts off the second after the first word, etc
  2. I ended up just uninstalling the component. Another component from the Tweaks Anthology that does not work is the "Send NPCs to an Inn" component.
  3. It replaces the BG2 Weapon Proficiencies with the proficiency groups from either BG or IWD.
  4. OMG! IT WORKED! I have not gotten 10pp to work with a modded BGT install!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
  5. I'm necro-ing this thread. Anyway to get the space bar to work when a loot container is open instead of manually clicking the pause button? Also, has the Alt toggle been implemented in GemRB? Or maybe some combination of Alt and Tab (I know...) functionality into a single button? I'm not sure how I could safely AHK Alt and Tab.
  6. There is Infinity Animations and lots of submods. IA requires ToBex, though and I do not think it will work with GemRB. Someone correct if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall massive graphics glitches when trying to install IA on an older GemRB build.
  7. Ctrl-W is pretty much the functionality I cared about. You da man!
  8. It shows nothing in the character creation or level up screens. I created a character in BG in GemRB with the BG1 prof's and exported it to BG2 and no proficiencies showed in the character record either, but it did show I had 4 dots in an unlabeled proficiency. Level-up blocked my progress. It would not let me advance past the levelup screen without spending the proficiency point. I thought GemRB let you advance past without spending the prof point (for cleric/fighter's, etc.)
  9. I'm a cheese monkey and I like to play with as many magical items as possible, so I love the big group proficiencies from BG1. Problem is, at character creation and levelup, I do not see the groups or styles in GemRB. Now, I can fix this in Shadowkeeper since GemRB will let me level up without assigning all my prof slots, but is there anyway to tweak the Start.py to show the modded Weapon Groups in BG2? It looks like I would tweak that there are one of the levelup.py. Thanks!
  10. http://www.shsforums.net/topic/60986-bg2-improved-gui/ Any idea if this will work with GemRB? I'm thinking it is too inline with the original engine and it will make a big mess.
  11. Not sure if this means anything, but I just noticed the GemRB console window constantly scrolling with this error: Any way to fix thi Buffer Underrun?
  12. Not exactly optimal, but going into the device properties of my speaker of my sound output device there is an option called Loudness Equalizer under Enhancements. It made the ambient super loud, but turning the ambient down to the lowest audible level made the NPC voices slightly louder in comparison. At least they can be heard. Have to remember to turn this off when I'm not playing though. I use this machine to render video and I was hoping not to screw with too many Windows settings.
  13. Yes. Irenicus sounds fine. So does the golem and Imoen. The spells effects all worked perfectly both visually and auditory. However, the "AHHHHHHHH" when the shadow thief was disintegrated was very faint and the door to the golem room does not make any open or shut sounds. Selection sounds for both the PC and Imoen worked fine and I could hear the ambient CI noise/music? Also, the BG2 intro movie played flawlessly.
  14. Hey! I think I finally got a Windows binary to work with a modded BGT game and 10pp. I'm pumped!!! The video seems fine and stores and everything in Candlekeep seem to work. The only problem I am having is with the sound. NPC Voices ("Elven Arse") are almost too quiet to hear, but selection sounds (Sound > Always) seem to be slightly louder. Some effects work well, like the lock sound on a container, but others do not work at all, such as the front door to the Candlekeep Inn. Footsteps are also too quiet to be heard, but they sound loudly in the Inn upstairs. The tavern music also does not play as expected (on entry), but if I wander around the first floor of the Candlekeep Inn, sometimes the tavern music will come after after 30 seconds or so. The exterior ambient sound (birds, etc.) is quite loud and starts as expected. I have tried turning on and off Environmental Sounds. Setting Compatibility Mode to Win XP SP3. Switching to sdlaudio (scratchy sounds on intro video and the music plays at double or triple speed. Downloading OpenAL Soft 1.22.1 and renaming to OpenAL32.dll and putting into the GemRB folder. The 64 bit version doesn't load at all and GemRB switches to sdlaudio. The 32 bit version performs exactly like the .dll that is included with the Windows binary. I feel like I am on the cusp of fulfilling my greatest Baldur's Gate dreams, except for this little audio hickup. Any advice on how to fix this, please? Thank you so much for this!!! Running the .9.1 Windows binary on Windows 11 64bit Home and the GOG versions of BG:ToTSC and BG2:TOB classic.
  15. DPlayer? Like how Amber's romance works? How could I use that to add NPCs? What about treating PCs as a summons? Anyone ever tried that?
  16. Thanks for the replies. What an interesting idea. Do you think it would be possible to give each In Party character a "Familiar" - essentially creating 12 party members? Would they still still banter/interject? Afaaq interjects, IIRC. Do you think I would have to develop an algorithm like 10pp that would update scripts to look for familiars or would the current scripts work because the familiar would be attached to an In Party character?
  17. There's no way to hex edit bgmain? I thought there was, but it broke the game because of the scripts.
  18. Hi, Is it possible to hex edit a real bgmain.exe to allow for larger party sizes? If so, could 10pp be run on the non-GemRB game to fix the scripts that limit to Player 6?
  19. And is it possible to set ALT (highlight) as always pressed or to make it a toggle?
  20. Well, I found a Windows build that lets me access the Worldmap while we figure out my issues with Linux. Playing BGT in the BG1 section and the game does pause while looting or in inventory. I can't manually pause either while in these screens. Is there an ini setting or unhardcoded somewhere to set Pause to loot or inventory? I have pause on dialogue. Also, would it be possible to recompile the Windows build with all of the latest commits? The most recent is 7/13. Thanks!
  21. I replied to the closed issue, but it looks like I have a new error now. Should I start another thread?
  22. darpaeklightmaps.tar.gz It couldn't find my chitin key. So I cheated and installed wine WOW! I'm like an official bugtester!
