  2. You can free a doppelganger. Side with the evil druid Free the lich Help the dwarf lich Side with the vampire I would say it's easier to play evil in SoD than in BG.
  3. DSotSC also adds IWD spells and could interfere with ToF.
  4. If I'm remember right, Transitions also changes the final video as a dream sequence with an ability reward.
  5. Ankheg plate mail is still a plate mail so barbarians indeed can't wear it since they are restricted to splint mail at most. Unkitted rangers are able to wear it. Beastmaster, stalker and archer can't since they are restricted to studded leather armor.
  6. It isn't a stupid question. Yes, the change must be done before installing this component.
  7. Without SCS i usually do it in chapter 2 because I go to Nashkel to recruit some NPC. With SCS it's almost always in chapter 3.
  8. It's explained in the readme : "The file "stratagems.ini", found in the stratagems directory, allows fine-tuning of install options not available via the main installer. To do this, just edit the file in Notepad or another text editor. Each line consists of a configuration option, then '=', then a number (or in one case a string). The only thing you should edit is the number (or string). The current player-usable options are listed below, by section. (Don't change anything not listed; these are work-in-progress and/or part of the testing framework.) I list the default value in parentheses after the setting. Spell system changes These variables all control the individual changes to the spell system (see documentation here). Setting each to 1 disables the respective change."
  9. No, I mean a next update will probably not be before some weeks, unless a critical bug is found. DavidW seems to currently work on ToF beta 14.
  10. You're not in the right window. First go there : Then there : And there : I use level 1 spells as an example because my character doesn't have level 5 spells slots currently.
  11. Check your character in Near Infinity. You probably have some spells memorized that don't exist in your current install. You can erase them with Near Infinity.
