  1. Crash in the middle of a scene often is related to the NWN2-inherent 'missing companion' bug. Please, take a look at the thread below, and check your game for one of the companions (probably Bishop or Shandra) gone missing from the saved folder.

    IWD2NPC FAQ

yes, that's entirely possible. They will not engage into the dialogues about characters' actions, those were addressed to player 1, but the 3rd party interjections would still be present.
  3. Thanks for letting me know. I will advise folks on using the Notepad exclusevly from now on.
  4. I am uncertain that the two can be related. Did you keep a back up file before you opened and altered it? If yes, try using it to see if problem goes away. If not, it's probably the safest to replay from an uncorrupted save.
  5. Wow, I didn't check this poll in forever, and looks like drow is the thing to be in Targos
  6. The global you want to set before talking to Demin is "P#DeherianaLives","GLOBAL" --> set the value to 1. If Kivan won't talk to Demin at this point of the game (you do not have a save), set the variables as follow: SetGlobal("P#DeherianaLives","GLOBAL",2) SetGlobal("P#DehWelcome","GLOBAL",1) SetGlobal("DerminJob","GLOBAL",1) and summon Deheriana via console, CreateCreature("P#DEHER") You might have to Ctrl+Q her in the party if her initial dialogue won't play.
  7. I think you can talk to all the cell-mates no matter how you get to the spell-hold iirc, and the Readme specifically urges you to talk to APhril if you feel like spoilers. If you have CLUA or Shadowkeeper you can set a variable before talking to Demin and you can get Deheriana this way.
  8. Kivan has a comment in Spellhold, asking to talk to Aphril when he sees her, asking to talk to her. The mod has a story that unfolds in a variety of ways. If you didn't find out about Deheriana, it won't break the game, it will just switch to a different scenario. Read-Me states:
  9. I am still out of luck I am afraid on finding time for it Life is not just busy, it's crazy busy.
  10. Due to the lack of time and the age of the mod, this mod will no longer be updated or revised. The current version is relatively bug-free. Please, browse the forum for the list of the known issues and quick fixes. -Domi

  12. Hi Icarian, the portrait set was made 2 years ago, so I don't think it's going to be altered, but it sounds like you might enjoy playing with them regardless. Drow skin is notoriously difficult for the artists, I find. Also, in IWD2 you can very easily customize the appearnces, voice sets etc. It's a very flexible game in that regard!
  13. Since the encounter is inavoidable, and I doubt Jastey feels like re-writing a huge chunk of BG2 to accomodate the paladin's way to help Adalon or have an NPC she painstackingly added to the game dropping out of the party and wandering away. There is some degree of player convenience that is good to take into an account. It's just one banter, after all, doesn't have to become a crucial turning point....
  14. Wow, sweet! I had lots of fun with Rizdaer's concept, glad people are having fun playing with him too.
  15. You can, but I can guarantee that it will never be done. Sorry, I doubt I am keeping up even with the laundry nowadays....
  16. Oh, goodness, so sweet in the twisted sort of way So Rizdaer in the expression and movement....
  17. Heya, nope! I worked on finishing up the Flirtpacks, and was going to start on DS this week, but someone lovingly put me on a new project that required my presence in the office on Wednesdays which is my day off/modding day. So, with shifting all the days off, I lost a day off this week... so, next week I should be bakc in the saddle! Hopefully.
  18. The Romance Pack for the Neverwinter Nights 2 Official Campaign and Mask of the Betrayer Expansion adds romance and flirts to your NWN2 game. It offers flirts for Bishop, Casavir, Elanee, Neeshka, Gann, and Safiya; full romantic tracks for Bishop and Casavir; and a Castle Wall scene for Bishop and Neeshka. It also features romantic epilogues for the four OC characters in the Mask of the Betrayer Expansion (MotB) portion of the game. This mod will be available from the downloads page after Valentines Day, 2009.
  19. Oh, bless you! I needed a laugh more than anything this morning!!! Looovely drawings.
  20. Well, I managed to finish coding Amelyssan's encounter. I still need one script that will turn Amelyssan and her party hostile, plus I need to put in a call for the voicework, but I am glad it's done. It's another 4,000 words dialogue, only Khalid's one is longer (that one runs about 5000 words). I can only hope that I didn't went all out on the last encounter, and that it will be easier to code! Anyways, the light is getting brighter in the end of the tunnel. Must be the on-coming train, lol!
  21. I amanged to make my way through some of Amelyssan's convo coding, finally, but boy, am I still not close to done on that one And of course, I wasted my time again on counting the scarifices. I shpould just put a sticky notes on my screen: It adds up, don't worry, even if Imoen and Elhan are both killed, there is a motivation to... er go further. Sorry for the spoilers, but it took me so long between the writing and coding, that i've jast had the cold sweat fit agan retracing my own logic....
  22. Well, I am guilty of having the first SoZ mod idea - turning Volo into the real joinable NPC. It's probably impossible, but he is a blast! Very funny, very hapeless, very Tymora-beloved.
