FWIW, my vote is to add the door to the EE. -
I've just started a modded BGII:EE run: and there appears to be an issue whereby spell scrolls show up in the inventory with a generic furled up scroll icon: https://imgur.com/a/9nD4Gkn The scrolls in the screenshot are Flame Arrow and Dispel Magic. Any idea which mod might be doing this? I checked the scrolls in NI and they appear to all have the furled up scroll icon even in the unmodded game, even though they display all right when you play.

This is, however, one of those fixes that warrants backporting to the BG2FP. It’s cool to adopt an EE-only solution for the EEFP, but a discussion on how to handle it universally still has merit IMO.

IMO, both "extra planar" and "outer planar" should follow the general rule for composite adjectives (i.e. they are hyphenated when they precede the noun they refer to, and not hyphenated otherwise.)

In my humble opinion, it would be best for the same creature to have the same classifications across both games. If I’m facing the same creature, I expect everything to work the same with respect to it. -

FWIW, I’m a huge fan of implementing P&P rules in these games but, much like jastey, I do consider those tweaks rather than fixes. This is because it seems clear to me that BioWare deviated from P&P on purpose in many places and, in the context of the Fixpack, developer intent is the baseline rather than P&P books. -
IMO, yes. In this specific case, they appear to be a byproduct of the fear effect. With the fear effect gone, there is no reason for its byproducts to stick around.

@CamDawg what would you need ToBEx AL to do in order for your EEFP fix to work on the classics as well?

If you pull the Greater Shadow in area BD7220 using the Spectacles of Spectacle after you've already killed the bugbears, you still get to ask the Shadow to kill them which doesn't make sense. That dialog option should be disabled if the bugbears are dead; optionally, it could be replaced with another non-violent exit point seeing as that appears to be the only one.
