  3. A bit off-topic, but I just wanted to butt in and say that what used to be Forgotten Wars is now Spellhold Studios, and can be found very much alive here, with the forum here.

  12. You know that when a creature is added to the party, all scripts except the override are wiped from the NPC, right? And #8 isn't necessary unless there's something you want to overwrite, and the new stuff is shorter (in characters) than the old one.

  14. DLTCEP shows no error, and I checked it manually too. There's nothing wrong on my install. Can you please check if either bernard5.sto, bernard6.sto or both is located in your override directory? If so, could you send them to me? sconrad@spellholdstudios.net
  15. There are two versions of Parisa, and it seems that if ppparis indeed is female, but vvparis is male - only using a female avatar. Now, there are two options, we either make vvparis male or female. Since the gender is set to male and the soundset is male, I'd lean towards that (since it's also easier). This code will change vvparis into using a male animation: COPY_EXISTING ~vvparis.cre~ ~override~ WRITE_BYTE 0x28 0x12 WRITE_BYTE 0x29 0x7f BUT_ONLY_IF_IT_CHANGES If you guys disagree, I'll change him into a female by replacing soundset and gender. (And yay! - I did some fixpack work!)

  17. Hi, everyone! Forgotten Wars will be moving to another domain quite soon, and at the same time undergoing an unavoidable name change. This course of action is because Neil Sharp, aka Wolfie, our previous administrator, has asked that we relocate our community to another domain as soon as we are able to do so. He feels that FW is growing away from his original vision, and that therefore we should retire the name and appearance of Forgotten Wars. I can therefore announce that after a few days of brainstorming, we have finally settled for a new name! FW will now be known as Spellhold Studios and this is also the new domain we shall soon move to. The forum database will be moved, together with most of the mods, to Spellhold Studios. You will not need to register again, and no data will be lost. A few things might be changed to suit the new environment, but I do not want to spoil anything for you. After the transfer is finished, we will have a free hand to continue working on our other projects, in order to make Spellhold Studios a better modding community. We are currently in process of making everything ready for the move. It is scheduled to take place on Saturday June 25. The forum will be taken offline as we relocate the database, in order not to lose any information. For comments or questions, I refer you to this thread in the FW News and Announcements forum.   21. I'm quite certain that FW outstrips most other numbers. At a guess I'd say it could well be CoM these days, although it's hard to tell exactly what's a mod and what's just another forum for some part of BP on Studios, I haven't precisely added up stuff like Blonde Imoen, and you could mean released or unreleased or blah blah blah. Yeah, this can be discussed forever.
