  1. Aye, congratulations. Also lookin' forward to Auren ToB and newer versions and stuff. And, well, I might as well use this opportunity to apologise for every wrong thing I did on IEP/MSN. Hope you can forgive. Oh, I have a question. I saw two soundfiles seperate from the Aurenv3 file on IEGMC. Does that mean I have to overwrite the seperate ones with the ones in the file, or is it just seperate for listening pleasure only? I'm guessing the latter, but you never know.

Hope that helps. The rest of the mod installs correctly.

    I agree. She could, however, pay tribute of sorts to Gond or a halfling god(dess). You don't have to be a priest to have faith. She spent much time among humans in cities, so it's possible she could convert to a human god, but it'd be more likely for her to convert to a halfling god. 'Sides, the only human god halflings throughout the realms worship is Tymora. Some gnomes worship Gond, whom they know as Nebelun. No problem. Use a program such as Near Infinity or ShadowKeeper (I'd advise NI) to alter a character's race, class, aligment, avatar, etc. That way you can create a character that normally wouldn't be possible due to rules, but if it's appropriate for the character, why not? Some examples: Aerie is a multiclass elven cleric/mage. Only half-elves can be a multiclass cleric/mage. Kido is a chaotic evil jester. Jesters are bards, who can't be chaotic evil. But it's appropriate for Kido, so why not? Allison is an elven druid. Only humans and half-elves can be druids. The list goes on. Just saying that making a halfling cleric/thief isn't a problem, as long as it's appropriate and believeable. And good luck on your other NPC's, mate.
  4. I thought Sim's tweak pack had a component for that. I can't recall clearly, but I think it adds penalties when you try to backstab with certain weapons like a staff.

    True. If you don't mind spelling errors, that is. I don't often agree with Ice, but in this case I do. I can't see Alora becoming a cleric either. If you want to make your own version of Alora, go ahead, but I'd advise to keep her a thief.

    Sounds promising. I quite like monks and Giths, myself. What race is he flagged as, btw? As I recall, BG2 has "Githyanki", but no "Githzerai". I could be mistaken, though. And does his race have any special pros/cons?
  11. I've begun working on my second mod, called Actual Fantasy. It's a bigger mod I work on whenever I'm temporarily bored with Lockheart. It's main quest is about dealing with the consequences of killing Kangaxx, but you could also enjoy the extras this mod brings (Items, quests, NPC's, romances, areas) without doing the main quest by simply not reviving Kangaxx. Besides, I'm making this with a component-based install in mind, so people can install only the items or the quests if they want, for example. The website is being worked on, but it already has a forum at RPG Dungeon. And in case you missed her, click this way for the Lockheart Romance mod. For the worried and the skeptic, there is no need for either of that. I'm not abandoning any of my mods. Progress doesn't have to be fast. Just steady and comfortable for the author.

  13. I don't know if Sime's romance is present in King Diamond's "compatible" version of TS, called TS-BP... but if it is, Crossmod doesn't check for TS-BP's Sime Romance, or it doesn't work, at least.

  16. Hmm, almost a year without updates? Is Raumoheru ever coming back? I'm sure I'll get my butt kicked for this, but... I've made a small update to this small kit mod. -Updated internal names with my own BWL registered prefix, so it no longer conflicts with other mods, such as NPC Kits. -Updated to WeiDU v185. Once I find out how, I'd want the three shipped items to be placed somewhere in the game, rather than having to CLUA them in. For now, v3 is on http://members.lycos.nl/cuteomen/files/Crusade_v3.rar And IEGMC mirror is coming soon. I just did the update in Raumoheru's absence...the content is *not* mine. Btw, shouldn't this be moved to the Misc Released mods? This one is hard to find, save using the PPG Modlist.

  20. I'm glad. Does Devine Remix do a similar thing, by the way? Say, I create a Watcher of Helm, export, and importing a regular standard BG2 Priest of Helm?
  21. I was just wondering. Say I export a character while having the Rebalanced Weapons component of G3 Tweaks installed, and I import the character again during a "clean" game without mods, would the character still function normally?
