    AR6003: "[ResourceManager/ERROR]: Couldn't find 'meyeg1e.bam'." "[CharAnimations/ERROR]: Couldn't create animationfactory: meyeg1e (7f38) " this error is generated all the time, even when the game is paused, you can see the GemRB.log growing in size. An alteration is needed that will shut off the console when the game is paused. All this printout achieves is spamming of the log file.
  2. Multiplayer mode was not functional the last time I tried it. You may have been trying to create a character file in a write-protected folder, on Windows 7 I hear that this can be a real hassle with the entire Program Files directory. Mods can really mess things up.

    "Are giving them HLAs too often, too early or do they exhaust them like this in the original too?" I was not keeping track of the HLAs, so I am not too clear, at some point I will need to check this.. "Cut237B.bcs problem, is this the cause: What's the problem?" Her minion does not end up dead, she is meant to kill him with a spell. "Illithid Intelligence drain lasts beyond the death of the Illithid concerned, is that meant to happen? Usually effect expiry has no relation to caster health, so I'd say it is expected." I think it is meant to be a psionic power, which surely should stop with the death of the caster.

    Holy Symbols are awarded every time a Cleric goes up in level, it is only supposed to happen once, at level 25. Previously I hacked the game and gave one of the two (True class) Clerics the spells of Helm while the other got the spells of Lathander, is that the problem? Promotion of Cleric is totally deadlocked, he has all the Special Abilities, hence he can't choose anymore. That means you can't complete the choose Special Abilities step and thus the Level Up process can't be completed, nor can you exit from it. Only possible action is to quit the game. I altered the LUCL#.2DA files to include a Fighter HLA, Whirlwind Attack, in the HLAs available to Clerics. Now this HLA can be chosen validly by the Cleric, hence the Level Up can be completed. Cut237B.bcs problem, is this the cause: ActionOverride("sendai",ForceSpellRES("sendaif1","sengua02")) // No such index AR6106: Pitfight with Captain Egeissage, all PCs remained selected during combat. (I did it again with only the protagonist selected as we entered the room. Then it was okay.) Player #6 could attack the Captain with Energy Blades? Following cutscene cut out. (Solution: we all teleported next to Sendai and talked to her, that triggered the dialog between her and the Illithid.) Illithid Intelligence drain lasts beyond the death of the Illithid concerned, is that meant to happen? Dialog is coming from other AR#### areas where the party has recently been. It only happens if the party has been to several areas with background dialog, during the one gaming session. Watchers Keep, AR3019, some Ferrumach Rilmani start combat as Injured. Ritual Scroll did nothing. Helm's Ritual Scroll did nothing too, faulty trigger: SpellCastInnate([ANYONE],HELM_RITUAL_SCROLL)

    Vongoethe did not hand over the Soul Crystal for Malla. Crash to Desktop in Amkethran Smuggler's Cave, we start to fight the Monks and then there is a crash. Maybe the Monk Lay on Hands being used?

    I seem to need a spell for the above. That can be done. Gone through the Watchers Keep down to level 5. Final four battles I will leave till later. Now I have cleaned out the oasis full of hostile Tethryrian troops and have arrived in Amkethran.
  12. I can't level up my Sorceror, she is currently on 4,254,243 XP. I can click the Level Up button ok, but nothing then happens. Is there is a maximum level of 20 for Sorcerors? The link for Trials of Luremaster: http://www.planetbaldursgate.com/iwd/info/luremaster/ For those not in the know, Heart of Winter is the expansion to Icewind Dale 1, and Trials of the Luremaster is the expansion to Heart of Winter. I have IWD1 and HoW, but I have never played them. It might be better if it is tested by someone familiar with IWD1.

    Until it is addressed I can add some code to the Pocket Plane area script, where the party normally rests. If party rested, check Luck for each PC, if one person has Luck not equal to 0, then the Luck for all PCs is set to 0.

    Luck is not being reset after resting. Party just rested and has Fatigue -2, but Fatigmod.2DA has no provision for negative Fatigue values...
  18. A quick list of the BG2 inventory slot numbers used by commands like Create Item or Remove Item. This is fairly esoteric, not normally needed. These numbers are found in the left column.     Write Magic is broken once again in versions 379 and 380. It seemed to work in a previous version, 373? 375? Most of the versions seem to have this function broken. Edit: It seemed to be Luck=94 causing the trouble. "With the Divine Remix mod, when you gain a level as a Cleric or a spellcasting Paladin/Ranger something weird happens: your memorized spell selection is changed. Spell selection now consists of the list of spells in your Priest spellbook! In the order they are found in spellbook, one of each and only one. " This is not happening with the wholly mod-free playthrough. Presumably it is Divine Remix at fault?

    What is a mod error and what is a Gem error? Only way to tell for sure is to remove all the mods. I will now set up a totally mod-free run through. See if I hit all the same problems or not.

    Machine of Lum the Mad, it takes 3 selections (of buttons, dials and levers) to make a valid choice but the machine only allows you to enter 2! Selections are recorded as global variables. Opening the gate to level 5 is triangle, red, medium. So before I touched any controls, I entered the last choice using the console [setGlobal("medium","GLOBAL",1)]. Then I chose triangle,red and the gate opened.

    It seems to be the level up that is at fault, as far as I can tell. With the Divine Remix mod, when you gain a level as a Cleric or a spellcasting Paladin/Ranger something weird happens: your memorized spell selection is changed. Spell selection now consists of the list of spells in your Priest spellbook! In the order they are found in spellbook, one of each and only one.

    Jaheira gained a level and then her luck went from 0 to 94. Assuming it is not a straight Gem problem, it may be the Divine Remix mod or it may be GemRB interacting with that mod.

    Luck is being reset to -56 for no reason that I can see. I will now reset the Luck to 0 for all PCs once again. Then I will go through level 3 again and see when it changes.
