August 27, 2012 Some positive news for a change. Got some work done on Saradush interjections, will defintiely get more. I hope to actually have something substantial to share. Of course, for those who were tired of waiting, I beg your forgiveness. And those with doubts, and disbelief...I certainly understand.
  2. Thanks for the kind words, though my own lack of results is not worth it. Too much work, too much medical issues, too much other real life stuff... *shakes head*
  3. I know progress has been slow. And yeah, I know I have said this all this before (as well as the frustration that goes with it). For those of you still waiting patiently, I thank you.

Jan. 7, 2012 Happy New Year. Not a whole lot new on the writing front. I am now halfway playing through Throne of Bhaal, and seeing where the lovetalks go (and what type, at least the required ones like the Gorion ghost one). Kaeloree will be coding things up, though any delay is mostly my fault.

Sept. 18, 2011 Long time no talk. Part of it is shame at not having more done. I've still been trying to get on top of stuff together (such as paying off student loans, working long hours). I admit, I didn't realize how tiring/long it would take. That said, I know the the delays are burdensome, for those who have been waiting. Thank you for your words of support (and those who threw up their hands in frustration, justifiable as well) Nothing I can say will apologize for the lateness. However, Kaeloree (who will be coding, and has my gratititude) will ensure that there will be some progress.
  6. Thank you both for your vote of confidence, even if I don't deserve it.

June 5, 2011 It's been a long time since my last post. This won't be much different than some previous bits I announced, and I understand those who have lost patience with me. Most of the lack of progress has been increased hours at work, as well as trying to get more bills paid off. I can guarantee that the gift someone gave me for BG II from GoG definitely works fine, though.
  8. At the moment, doubtful. Thanks for asking though
  9. I think I'm doing better, though I have another appointment this Wed.
  10. Nothing new. Biggest headache is the doc decided to play with my meds, and I've been up and down, and not in a fun way...
  11. Yep, and I can attest ToB works fine for me. Truth be known, the only complaints I have is that to access some features (such as enabling the CLUA), I ended up having to run the game in a compatibility mode (this goes for a few other games with cheats). Or, to get NWN Diamond Edition to run at all on my machine, once again I had to go into compabitility (it didn't want to run on normal Windows 7). And considering some of the other games they've got, I will be frequenting the site in the future.

Jan. 21, 2011 Thanks to a generous gift, I have access to Baldur's Gate SoA/ToB from GoG.com. This will be nice to be able to get it to play on my new computer...
  13. Just for the few who may nitpick, I left Kaeloree's post in the Diary thread since it pertained to offering to code for Del (and thank you to the others who offered to in the past)

And I really appreciate the offer, and will probably take you up on it...if I get the writing done. The onus is mine. And when I said substantial, I meant the writing. If nothing else, I will make myself get something done on the weekends...which would mean there is progress.

Jan 12, 2011 Happy New Year, everyone. I could go the same old, same old...been working more (car repairs, etc.). Needless to say, time has been short, as has been personal energy. Anyways, Del has certainly been drawn out. As others took me to task in the past (and rightly so), if it isn't going to be done, then I should just say so. It doesn't help that I do have a new machine with Windows 7, while my old game was on my old Vista machine as well. And once again, for those who have followed Del this long, thank you for your patience.
  16. True there are definitely some good stuff going on to make the older games run on the newer machines.
  17. I think it also stands to reason many people have moved on to other games (not to mention newer machines having troubles running some of the older games, which BG I/II certainly count as.

Dec 16, 2010 Not that it will be a surprise, but I haven't really finished much else. Work and holidays, mostly. Additionally, I got a new computer, and am busy muddling along learning it. I hope everyone else has a good holiday season.
  19. Hope you don't mind me moving your question to the proper thread. Anyways, all of the writing for SoA is done, and 50% of ToB writing is done. Overall, probably 80% done, then it would need coded. Even after Cam left, there have been offers by others to code it when it is finished.

Oct 2 2010 I didn't get much progress done last month. Sorry. I pretty much ended up doing some extra hours to cover some unexpected bills, and left my brain fragged. It should ease up this month, though. Also, moved a question to the Comment on the Dev. Diary thread...

July 28, 2010 Been a while, I know. Have a couple lovetalks done, and about half of quest interjections. There may be around 8 or so...no more than the other npcs. And of course, some of them are pretty much a given, such as the ghost encounter.
  22. Roughly 1/3 lovetalks planned (there is only going to be about 10 in ToB...and many of those are forced ones, like with the shade of Gorion, etc.), and 1/4 of quest interjections written. Long hours at work are the worst part of it.
  23. I should be able to get the writing done in the next 2-3 months, and then there will still need to be some coding, though some kind inviduals have offered to do so. However, I still want to get all the writing done first.
  24. Sometime this year, and that is the best I can say.
  25. I have been getting some writing done slowly, but no, I can't give you a firm date on finishing.
