I actually have gotten something done, but not enough to put up a new sample yet, though I hope so soon. The majority of my stuff so far has been wrapping up some dental work, getting fillings done, and will be getting my last two wisdom teeth removed soon.

Thanks for the offers everyone, but the biggest portion just boils down to me finishing up the writing for Del...and the really big bits of that is the lovetalks (the minor things are interjections and epilogues).

Jan 2, 2010 Happy New Year... I know progress has been non-existant. In addition to the holidays, other things have happened. As I posted elsewhere, there was a major water break, and the insurance is only covering a part of it. So, I've been working more hours to help cover it. The other real life bit is getting some major dental work done, and it makes writing hard after that as well. For those who've been patient, thank you once more. And those who tire of the slowness, who get irritated by it, I do apologize. All that really needs done now is lovetalks (as mentioned before) and interjections, and I will definitely make stab at getting somethign done.

The insurance only covered part of it. I am taking a wait and see attitude until at least the first of the year.

I'm sorry, I should have said something, but I didn't. No there hasn't been much progress. There was a major water pipe burst outside the house near Thanksgiving. Needless to say, the repair/replacement of the line was expensive, and I've been putting in some long hours to pay for it, as well as Christmas. I hope to have things better balanced after the first of the year.

What needed to be done wasn't the problem. Getting to it (whether due to real life events, Cam's leaving, etc.) was a bigger one. I don't have all the epilogues planned, but there are some firm ones...such as if the PC chooses ascension, and whether he is a force for good, or a force for evil...

Nov. 4, 2009 Well, I have things set where I can write on Del again, though things will be sporadic with holidays, etc. Del's interjections will be the next worked on, and then NPC interjections, and finally lovetalks/epilogues. At the moment, I'm eyeing around 10 lovetalks (a good half or so will occur after events like the other lovetalks)

Thanks. I can at least guarantee that I have everything backed up, though, so material wise, nothing was lost.

Oct. 16, 2009 There was more problems with my computer, so no work done. I'm going to look for a new one, but probably won't get one until after the first of November.

Oct. 3, 2009 Between the various things with G3, and a massive problem with my computer...any immediate updates with Del will be delayed. And with the move, I need to make sure everything got transferred alright.

It depends. Normally, the lovetalks tend to be harder, if for not other reason than the branching choices, and trying to think of dialogue paths. However, both go much more smoothly if there is a firm 'idea' for the banter or lovetalk in mind. And if doing a banter, as long as one keeps the NPC's (say, a Keldorn as opposed to a Minsco) tone in mind, then the banter usually flows fairly well.

Sep. 12, 2009 Finished with Anomen, I believe. The next segment will probably Del interjections for ToB (and a review of the big segments which have a 'mandatory' lovetalk, like after the wraith...)

Sept. 7, 2009 Got a couple more Anomen banters done, but not entirely finished. Then, I will focus on NPC interjections into the Banters, as well Del quest interjections for ToB (both are finished for SoA). I'm saving the lovetalks and epilogues for the last.

Aug. 30, 2009 Finished with Edwin, leaving Anomen alone for NPC banters.

On the average, there will be around three banters per NPC in ToB (in SoA, there is 4, sometimes more). Most of them will be random...the idea is that if there is a replay, it should be a bit more random. Heck, even a good portion of the interjections in SoA have been randomized since some will definitely feel there is too much 'banter'.

August 10, 2009 Moved some posts to the appropriate thread. Finished Nalia banters, leaving just Edwin and Anomen (then leaving interjections, epilogues, and lovetalks).

Yes, SoA is done I just want to try and get SoA and ToB done together.

July 31, 2009 Tentatively finished with Jaheira and Imoen.

Of course, the lovetalks will be the next big thing...and a good many of which tend to occur after certain events (such as the fall of Saradush or the meeting with Gorion's shade...)

July 13, 2009 Finished writing 1 Imoen and 1 Jaheira Banter. Close to finishing out Nalia, Imoen, and Jaheira (leaving Edwin and Anomen)

Thankfully, ToB isn't as big. But yeah, I'm hoping to make a big push to finish the rest of the NPCs, and the Del interjections through this month.
