  1. Apparently the game hasn't been updated since May 27, 2016. I think I installed it about a year ago. Wrong: Thursday, June 28, 2018. The GoG's linux version might not have been, but the others have. Sorry, I should have specified, I'm playing the original version of the game, not enhanced.

  3. I installed the GOG version of BG2 on a Linux machine with the following mods: These are the exact same mods and the same version that I had installed on a Windows machine and have been playing for about a year. I transferred the save files from the Windows machine to Linux. The game runs fine and the mods appear to work, but when I try to load one of the save files it freezes. Anything obvious I'm doing wrong?
  4. Hi, @CamDawg! I got a bunch of parse errors during install. I posted the log here if you're interested. Curiously, I got the same errors years ago when I installed a previous version of the patch with the same options. Edit: oops, I posted the same thing about a year ago and you gave me a pretty good explanation why this happens. Sorry!
  5. I installed A Mod for the Orderly (Windows) v5. According to the readme, Mira at Waukeen's Praumenade should carry the key ring. But she doesn't. Is it a problem that I installed this mod mid-game and post biffing?
  6. I think I found a solution that works without disabling 3D acceleration: 1. Download DxWnd and extract the archive. 2. Run dxwnd.exe. 3. Go to Edit > Add. 4. Under the Main tab, enter the path to bgmain.exe. 5. Under the Generic section, uncheck "Run in Window." This will restore your display resolution when the game is minimized. 5. Under the Input tab, Cursor handling section, uncheck "Correct mouse position." 6. Click OK. 7. Double click the newly created icon that appears within the DxWnd program window to run the game.
  7. I think I found a better solution that doesn't require an external monitor. 1.
  8. I followed the steps above but it didn't work for me with latest drivers. I found another solution however: 1.
  9. Nope. It's the standard GOG install plus 1PP and a few tweaks from the anthology. Can I still apply the fix pack or did I mess up the order? On second thought, I might play without it this time. I'm just starting to wrap my head around some of the mechanics and don't want to go changing them.
  10. "Increase Gem and Jewelry Stacking" installs with 103 parse warnings and "Increase Scroll Stacking" installs with 17. See http://ix.io/Cc1 and http://ix.io/Cc2, respectively. I installed this right after 1PP. Could that be the problem?
