  1. Got some crossmod banter? Want it in this mod? Me, too.

From here on out, we're going to be changing up the way this mod is maintained. Modders who wish to have their crossmod in this pack will need to submit their banters in a format that makes updating this mod easy and quick.

I've created a scaffold you can use to set up your crossmod content. If you coded your NPC mod, you should be perfectly comfortable doing this.

Download the zip from the GitHub repository and extract it. Then just follow the instructions. :)

If you run into issues, just contact myself or any of the Gibberlings and we'll help.

    Download it here

  2. Sounds good :) . Yes, after taking a look at the code it's very straightforward to add to the mod, but also a little tedious. Having modders submit their banters in a format more closely compatible with CBP's requirements would make updating it much easier and quicker.

  3. @Lava and @Artemius I, If you're checking for crossmod installed as well as the mod you are crossmodding with, double firing shouldn't be an issue. But don't know if ppl do that :)

I am currently updating the mod. However there's a certain structure I am going to advise interested modders to follow so updating isn't a PITA.

If you don't mind waiting, I can put this guide up later. If you like you can send me your crossmod stuff then.

Crossmod with Kulyok's Reunion! Seriously, that'd be a great ToB conclusion to their story. Even if it were nothing but some tiny acknowledgment of saving 'their' castle (again).

I actually haven't played that one yet - I'll have to look into it!

  5. This Baldur's Gate II mod adds Angelo Dosan, the fighter-turned-mage who served as your brother's henchman in Baldur's Gate. You may remember that he sentenced you to death and fought against you in the Undercity, and if you were lucky enough to mine the content, you may remember that he is Shar-Teel's father. Most likely he didn't survive your game, but people in this world seem to have a knack for not staying dead. Version 6 brings native EET compatibility to the mod, numerous bug fixes and optimizations, and item description corrections on EE games.

  6. Yeah...I don't know. I replayed BGEE and the stupid modding bug bit me.

I'm going to do an update to Auren this year. The stuff I plan to update is pretty simple but it's been a LONG time since I looked at the code.

If anyone reading this wants to make a request, I can possibly add it to the list, just keep in mind that things like "make her romanceable", "add more talks", or "make the Nalia romance optional on install" probably won't happen. I'm getting too old for this.

    Wishlist

    • Allow her to wait at an inn if she leaves the party
    • Change her banters to be real time based (they are currently game time..WHY DID I DO THIS)
    • Fix what I thought I saw was an interjection bug or 3.
    • Remaster her music tracks
  7. The Beaurin Legacy by @jmaeq introduces an elven Enchanter/Thief and a hidden NPC to BGII:SoA and BGII:EE. Minyae Beaurin can be found outside of the Crooked Crane in the City Gates. The mod includes custom portraits, a friendship track, numerous banters and interjections, encounters and quest(s), voicing for both NPCs (However, Minyae is fully voiced), a romance with a Bioware NPC, player-initiated dialogues, and a custom friendship track theme. Version 2 features the first release of its Throne of Bhaal content, an alternative class (Enchanter) for Minyae, a romance conflict with Laufey's Edwin Romance Mod, an additional portrait, a new soundtrack, and various bug fixes.

  8. Nythrun's mod derives from Gebhart Blucher's Alternate BG2 NPCs (lvl1npcs.zip). Her massive opus of "allow player choice" allows you to start any of the joinable NPCs from BG and BG2 as level one characters with excess experience points. When they join your party, you can level them up and choose their skills. Level 1 NPCs expands on Blucher's original concept by allowing players to assign any previously installed kit/class - default or customized - onto any default (and many mod-added joinable) NPCs from both BG1 and BG2 games. The mod also allows players to change the NPC's skills and weapon proficiencies, individually tweak stats, and much, much more... Khalid the Fighter/Painbearer of Ilmater, Mazzy the Paladin, Jaheira the Kensai, and Valygar the Wizard Slayer are just a few examples. Version 3 fixes an issue that prevented Joinable NPCs more closely match the PC's experience from installing on BGEE games.

  9. We have a support ticket filed with the Invision guys to get the attachment issue sorted out. In the meantime, maybe @CamDawg can re-upload that file to downloads or something that's more reliable at this point - unfortunately I don't have it.
