  1. I could probably look into this @jmaeq. Send me what you've got!
  2. We're still having issues with attachments on the forums - there's a support ticket out for it but it's still being looked at. The library for the portrait packs is in all of our portrait mods now so you should be able to look at those for examples. We can send the PSD actions via some other method if someone needs them until our attachments are fixed.
  3. CoM became Team BG Mods a few years ago. http://www.baldursgatemods.com/forums/index.php Could probably ping @CoM_Solaufein and get more information that way too.
  4. We have a support ticket filed with the Invision guys to get the attachment issue sorted out. In the meantime, maybe @CamDawg can re-upload that file to downloads or something that's more reliable at this point - unfortunately I don't have it.
  5. CamDawg was able to find and upload a backup to the 7.8 thread - at the bottom. We're discovering some files that were attached like that didn't make it through the transfer for some reason and we're looking into why.
  6. That's impressive progress in a short amount of time - nice work.
  7. I was wondering if there was a Code extension the other day...very nice.
  8. You're asking me to do *work* on this mod now?
  9. I've updated the downloads page with the correct version of the alpha and have moved the forum back to in progress so people can, you know, actually see it.

    Tyris Flare

Meet Tyris Flare, a red-haired amazon who can kick ass and hurl fire! Sound familiar? That's because I decided to have a nostalgia trip and recreate a character from ye olde Golden Axe computer games that were released on the Sega Mega Drive (or Genesis in America) and arcade machines in the 90s. You may also have seen her recently in Golden Axe: Beast Master, though my interpretation of the character is from the older games. How does she end up in Baldur's Gate II? You'll have to play to find out! Once in your party, Tyris will banter with all BioWare NPCs and can be romanced by any human/elf/half-elf male PC. Additional Copyright Notices Golden Axe is either a registered trademark or trademark of SEGA Corporation. Tyris' portraits are also owned by SEGA Corporation. Tyris' love theme is a portion of "Someone to Trust" by Bear McCreary and is available on the Battlestar Galactica: Season Three soundtrack under the La La Land label. If the SEGA Corporation, Bear McCreary or La La Land object to the material included in this modification, please contact me and I will remove it.

    Sarah

This mod will add Sarah, a young but independent ranger to Baldur's Gate II. Sarah is a female human ranger of chaotic good alignment. Her stats are as follows: Age: 22 STR: 16 DEX: 17 CON: 15 INT: 14 WIS: 12 CHR: 10 Sarah is a young but independent woman who was born in the slums of Baldur's Gate. She was raised by her father until he met an untimely death at the hands of a mugger when she was thirteen. Sent to live with her uncle, a ranger, in the Cloakwood Forest, Sarah learned the ways of nature as well as the art of combat. Years later, she left the Cloakwood to explore on her own. She settled in an empty cabin not too far from Umar Hills, and has helped guide lost merchants and other travelers ever since. Sarah is a relatively shy but determined person who admits to loving nature more than people, but then again, perhaps she just hasn't found the right person yet. This mod will include: An NPC for SoA and the ToB expansion A romance for eligible females. Multiple epilogues A friendship for those PCs not eligible, or if you just do not want to romance Sarah. Banters with the BioWare NPCs. A fun quest and interesting encounter. A useful ranger who isn't afraid of magic. Numerous interjections. Reactions to the events of the Baldur's Gate II world. An original soundtrack. A beautiful portrait drawn by the talented Ilmatar. Many, many voiced lines.
  14. The Romantic Encounters mod for Baldur's Gate II (RE for short) is an add-on for the game Baldur's Gate II, with or without the Throne of Bhaal expansion pack. Romantic possibilities are endless. It could be a bit of flirting. Or several. Some innuendo. A lovers' quarrel. A one-night stand. Or even several nights together - with a 'morning after' and without. A dream. Or something else? We are attempting to give the protagonist of the game Baldur's Gate II these opportunities. Some of the encounters are not explicit (PG-13, teen content), some have adult content. As well, a separate component with Aerie's, Anomen's, Jaheira's and Viconia's reactions is available. Note that an affair does not necessarily break your romance.
  15. Baldur's Gate Romantic Encounters Modification (BG1RE) is a mod for "vanilla" BG1 (requires TotSC), BG1Tutu v4, EasyTutu, BGT, BG:EE, and EET, adding several encounters and quests all over the game. For BG1RE, not every component deals with the PC trying to sneak into someone's pants or vice versa. BG1RE aims at populating BG1 with romantic encounters, intense dialogues, unexpected private dinners, romantic traces of long lost times, and real quests that all deal with true love, fulfilled or unfulfilled. It also offers encounters for the PC's quick relief, of course, with either paid companions or willing strangers. For some encounters, the female PC should brush herself, as it might be she comes out flustered if she doesn't stop in time. This mod is a group effort including lots of components from different authors. Thank you to all who contributed to make this mod possible!

    Mur'Neth

Mur'Neth can be found inside the Nashkel Mines on the penultimate floor, near a pool of water in the bottom - left corner of the map. He is a Ghaunadan, a member of the race of ooze - like shapechangers who venerate Ghaunadaur, the evil deity of oozes, moulds and the like. He is of Chaotic Evil alignment and has the following statistics: STR: 17 DEX: 16 CON: 16 INT: 11 WIS: 10 CHR: 14 He has a unique kit, based on the thief class. When encountered he is Level 3 with no particular bias in skills. His proficiencies are in club and dagger and he has a small amount of equipment. The kit is as follows: GHAUNADAN: These vile, intelligent monsters are the loyal servants of Ghaunadaur, the evil deity venerated by oozes, slimes, jellies and some drow. Ghaunadans are similar to oozes, but they are quite intelligent and can form their bodies into the shape of an attractive humanoid. In its natural form, a ghaunadan resembles an ooze-like creature such as an ochre jelly or green slime. Ghaunadans lack many of the advantages of thieves, but make up for these with unique abilities of their own, such as their charming gaze and unique resistances. Advantages: May cast Friends once per day per 2 levels. Immune to blindness, poison, disease, sleep, paralysis and stunning. In addition, they have 10% resistance to bludgeoning damage. Can make an Ooze Touch attack once per day per 3 levels. This ability lasts for 5 rounds. The attack does 1d6 damage and the target must save vs. poison or be held for 5 rounds. Can shapeshift between ooze and human forms once per day per 5 levels. While in ooze form, all the character's attacks are paralytic. There is no limit to the time spent in either form. Disadvantages: Only gets 15 skill points per level. Cannot set traps. His biography is as follows: When you ask about his past, MUR'NETH turns towards you and lets out a long, tortured gurgle. Although his true form is that of ooze, he seems comfortable being referred to as a male. You glean from his words a deep devotion to his deity Ghaunadaur, creator of his race. Mur'Neth reveals this is typical for his kind - they truly live to serve him. Mur'Neth was spawned only recently to investigate the tainting of the ores beneath the Nashkel Mines, which has resulted in the deaths of many of the native oozes and moulds in the area. This displeased Ghaunadaur greatly, though he seems content to permit Mur'Neth to accompany you for now... Remove Rare Select Sounds The NPCs in BG had rare select sounds, but the way BG2 works these aren't so rare when playing Tutu. Tutu NPCs have an option to replace these rare selection sounds with common ones from their soundset. So at Ghreyfain's request, I've done this for Mur'Neth too. Obviously, it requires that the first component be installed...
  17. Corthala Romantique is compatible with all BGII games: original BGII, BGII:EE, BGT, and EET. Originally by Domi and also Beyshaliban, Caetlyn, and Meira. Revised and recoded by jastey. The Mod Corthala Romantique adds a romance for female PCs (no short races) of good or neutral alignment (no chaotic neutral) or female druids. To proceed with the romance, the reputation has to be above 13. The mod also adds friendship talks for the SoA part of the game for PCs that do not fulfill the romance criteria. For ToB, all dialogues added are for romance, only. Also added are banters with other NPCs and interjections, for romance and non-romance case in SoA. As a second, optional component, the "bathing flirt" can be installed for the romance. The content does not exceed teen rating. The third, independently installable component introduces a quest to let the sphere be guarded or be sealed forever by a friend of Valygar, Leonora. The quest can be installed and played without the romance. The quest to close the sphere might trigger while the sphere quests are still running. Just tell Valygar that it has to wait.
  18. The mod assumes that Kivan was in the group at the end of BG. The Archer will be looking for you in the Promenade District of Athkatla, having tracked you down this far from Baldur's Gate after your abduction. Once in the party, Kivan will interact with both PC and NPCs. If the PC is female, choosing certain dialogue options will hint at her interest in Kivan as a romanceable character. In this case, Deheriana's arc of the story would not occur, and a few flirtatious talks will appear after visiting Spellhold. If PC is a male or not interested in capturing Kivan's heart, Deheriana's story arc will develop in the end of the game. To see the story in full, please do not miss the talks with Aphril, Demin and Ellesime (in the end of the game). A happy ending of Deheriana's story will occur if Aerie or Cernd are in the party or if PC is one of the healing classes (Ranger, Druid, Cleric or Paladin). Kivan and Deheriana NPCs have SoA and ToB content, such as dialogues with PC and NPC, interjections into the game events, additional encounters and Player-Initiated Dialogues. Kivan and Deheriana are a part of Lands of Intrigue project.
  19. berelinde's Keldorn Romance introduces a romance for the original BioWare NPC Keldorn. It is compatible with all BGII games: original BGII, BGII:EE, BGT, and EET. He's loyal. He's brave. He's... single? Life is an uncertain thing, and changes come when we least expect them. This mod offers a chance to romance Athkatla's newest... and most reluctant... bachelor. All relationships take work, and this one takes more than most, but the rewards are great, for those patient enough to endure the trials. This romance is not for everyone. It is certainly not a romance for the hasty. When it begins, Keldorn is grieving after the collapse of his 20-year marriage, and it takes him a long, long time to recover. It deals with mature themes, the real consequences of rejection and recovery, and some players may not want to go through all that, no matter how devoted the would-be love interest becomes in Throne of Bhaal. It is also very, very long, with 35+ talks in Shadows of Amn, though the talks are spaced more closely together to compensate for this. To begin the Keldorn Romance, you must allow Keldorn and Maria to reconcile. He will only consider himself free if his marriage to Maria is legally ended, and imprisoning Maria will only separate them, not divorce them. Also, Maria's incarceration might present childcare issues that would be impossible to overcome. The mod also features a quest for all PCs, romanced or not, though that, too, requires a reconcilliation between Keldorn and Maria.

    Haldamir

This mod adds the NPC Haldamir to Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn games. Haldamir can be found in the Den of the Seven Vales in Waukeen's Promenade. Haldamir is an unkitted elven fighter. He has two banters with each of the BioWare NPCs, a short friendship track, and numerous interjections. Statistics 18/92 Strength 17 Dexterity 16 Constitution 11 Intelligence 9 Wisdom 9 Charisma Biography When asked about his past, Haldamir smiles, as if greeting an old friend. He was raised in Cormanthor, and spent his life defending it, right up until a wild surge teleported him to Athkatla. He speaks with fond remembrance of his homeland... though without great detail.
  21. Gavin was born in Ulgoth's Beard, one of the younger children of a sailmaker and a midwife. He had an unremarkable childhood, until, at the age of 12, he discovered he had a talent for healing. At this point, he began his religious instruction at the Song of the Morning temple in Beregost. Perhaps you met Gavin on the Sword Coast during your travels there, or perhaps you are meeting him for the first time. Either way, he will be happy to lend his hammer and his faith to your cause. Statistics 16 Strength 12 Dexterity 16 Constitution 12 Intelligence 17 Wisdom 12 Charisma Friendship Gavin banters extensively with the protagonist and with other party members. There are no gender, class, or alignment restrictions for friendship. Gavin will attempt to befriend an evil protagonist, but he is still a Dawnbringer of Lathander. If the protagonist is evil, he will attempt to redeem him or her, though the protagonist is free to rebuke his efforts. Romance Gavin will attempt to romance a female protagonist of any race or alignment, though he will not romance assassins. In order to continue a committed romance, the protagonist will need to have been eligible for his romance in Baldur's Gate, but any female protagonist who is not an assassin and whose wisdom and charisma are both 8 or better may begin a romance in Baldur's Gate II. Gender: Gavin will only romance a female protagonist. Alignment: To continue a committed relationship, the protagonist will need to be good-aligned, but she need not be good-aligned to begin a new romance in Amn. Even so, Gavin will not commit to an evil-aligned protagonist unless she is redeemed. Class restrictions: To continue a committed relationship, the protagonist could not have been an assassin, a bounty hunter, or a necromancer. Now, Gavin will only refuse to romance an assassin. Stat requirement: To continue a committed relationship, the protagonist will have needed a wisdom of 10 or better and a charisma of 12 or better. To begin a new romance, the protagonist's wisdom and charisma need only be 8 or better. Reputation: Gavin has no reputation requirements for Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. Alternate Portraits

    Gavin

Gavin was born in Ulgoth's Beard, one of the younger children of a sailmaker and a midwife. He had an unremarkable childhood, until, at the age of 12, he discovered he had a talent for healing. His father was a follower of Tyr, but his mother worshipped Lathander. They were quite surprised to find that their rambunctious son had a calling to the priesthood, but they enthusiastically supported his decision, nevertheless, accompanying him to Beregost to begin his novitiate. His service to his god and his temple was devout, but otherwise unimpressive, and he was ordained a Dawnbringer at the age of 19. Since then, he has spent most of his time performing varied services for the temple, but Gavin's advancement within the ranks has been slow. Gavin is 28 when you meet. Statistics 16 Strength 12 Dexterity 16 Constitution 12 Intelligence 17 Wisdom 12 Charisma Friendship Gavin will attempt to befriend a protagonist of any race who is not evil or an assassin. Gavin will not withhold his friendship based on reputation, but he will leave if it should fall below 5. There are no statistical requirements for friendship. Gavin will join a party with an evil or assassin protagonist, and will make interjections and banter with other NPCs, but he will not participate in any of the friendship talks. Romance Gavin has no racial preferences, for friendship or romance. A romance guide (PDF, 916k) is available. Gender: Gavin will only romance a female protagonist. Alignment: While Gavin will befriend a neutral protagonist, he will only be attracted to a female of good alignment. Class restrictions: Gavin will not be attracted to an assassin, bounty hunter, or necromancer of any alignment. Stat requirement: Gavin admires a strong leader, so he will only be attracted to a protagonist with a charisma of 12 or better and a wisdom of 10 or better. Reputation: A reputation of 11 or higher is required to initiate and sustain the romance, but for it to progress past a certain rather obvious point, a reputation of 15 or better is required and must be maintained. Gavin will warn the PC if her reputation needs work with plenty of time to improve it. Offense: Gavin is not particularly easily offended, but he will not tolerate frequent insult to his values, or too many callous or cruel decisions. Gavin appreciates the kind of maturity that cannot be measured in years. Obviously immature PC responses are also likely to offend.
  23. Ah, Garrick... so young, so sincere, so impressionable. But then, what bard would not be drawn to Gorion's heroic ward? Her tale is a legend in the making, and Garrick is there to chronicle her rise to greatness. Of course, he could not help but be swept up in the romance of it all! "Garrick's Infatuation" allows Gorion's foster daughter to explore a closer acquaintance with her very first biographer through a series of 25 conversations. The flirtation is available to females of any race, class, or alignment and it begins shortly after Garrick is recruited. The mod is intended for the Baldur's Gate segment of the saga and is fully compatible with the BG1 NPC Project, though the latter is not required. At present, the EasyTutu, BG Tutu, or the BGT conversion is required. The mod will also work on Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition or the Enhanced Edition Trilogy (EET) mod.
