As a note, the readme says you couldn't find a 2e source for potions of superior healing. The Encyclopedia Magica has them (vol. 3, p. 891) drawing on a Polyhedron issue. They heal 6d8+2 (8-50, average of 29). There's a quirk that trying to drink any additional potions of superior healing within 24 hours of the first also deals 6d8+2 damage to you, so you were gambling that the healing roll would be greater than the damage roll. That part seems like it might not be practical (or very fun) to implement, but there's your source if you wanted it.
