  1. I checked the batch you uploaded, and only two of the characters (Duergars) were using the _LOW animation. I am at loss here then, since I was 100% certain that it's an animation issue, or might be that even other animation files are corrupt then. You should keep the three modified files in the override though.

  3. Here is the fixed DUEMAG02 file, but this guy might not be the only one which will crash your game later on. I am not sure why this happens, but there is a problem wiht _LOW animation files from the Infinity Animation pack, or in combination with animation mods. DUEMAG02.CRE
  4. I just checked original BG2 files, and realized that this is how its supposed to be, BUT it still seems to be faulty when combined with installing the Infinity Animations pack. I just changed the animations in my game, and you know what happened?
  5. Oh shit, nevermind, I know what your problem is. You are using faulty BG1 animations provided by one of the animation packs that you installed. I just checked the DUEMAG02 creature file again, and saw this: I had the same problem with the Imoen Romance mod which used the BG1 animations for characters.
  6. Can you upload the DUEMAG01.BCS as well (biff folder probably)?
  7. Can you upload the DUEMAGG02.CRE file (the one in the biffed folder, and not provided by ABlake)?
  8. Sounds like a faulty script of one of the creatures then, since you were able to load the map with the vanilla.cre files (even though it crashed after loading).
  9. Try this now. I deleted all the npcs from the map, just to see if the actors are the problem here. AR0603.ARE
  10. Try to put this in your override folder, and see if it works. Although I don't believe that faulty animations are at work here. I was able to enter ARE0603 with your area file, so the area itself is not the problem. AR0603.ARE
  11. AR0603.ARE shouldn't be in the override folder anyway, because you biffed it, so that's fine. Can you maybe upload the AR0603.ARE, ARE0603.BCS, BALDUR.BCS? Do a search for them here: D:\games\Baldur's Gate Trilogy\generalized_biffing1\prod\0\biffs

  13. Btw, I noticed that your script blocks for AR0020 and AR5500 don't have a Continue() line. This might be a problem since the game (area) might not spawn stuff that is behind your blocks at all.
  14. Is it somehow possible to modify the setup file so that I can install it over an older version of BGQE (9.1) without any errors (at least no gamebreaking errors)?

  18. Really liking this mod so far. Especially now, that there is another Thief character I can pick from, besides Jan. Any chance for some crossbanter with other NPC mods btw?
  19. I guess you can do more or less anything you want by hex-editing the .exe... but it seems a lot easier to just pick up the EEs when they go on sale... This sadly isn't an option for me. ;_; Wish the TobEX guy would be still here. Maybe he could help.
  20. So, are the effects hardcoded into the engine? Would hexediting work?
  21. Recently found a mod for BGEE which balances the four weapon style proficiencies, problem is, that that one 2da file which is reponsible for the changes can only be found in the EE of BG (STYLBONU.2DA). Question is, if its somehow possible to improvise and bring these effects to BGT?
  22. Mod no longer borks kit.ids What exactly is getting "borked" in the kit.ids in the older versions of NPC Kitpack? Because I am using an older version of this mod, and am not planning on upgrading to the newer one.
  23. So is there no one, who has some experience with .tis files, and knows how to fix stuff like this? Suppose the original mod author is long gone...
