  1. Ok, your signature is indeed a good tip. A general readme, i.e. install order would be cool too. You repeat it often enough, but for someone new to the mods, it's not always clear.
  2. Is there a subsite or something dedicated to your mods, @subtledoctor? Honestly, I can't play without them, but if you come back to the game after a couple of months, it can be tricky to find out what's what no in the subtle-verse.
  3. I'm always pro-options, but isn't a Thief without Open Locks a bit useless? Granted, I've only ever pulled of one succesful backstab in 25 years of Infinity Engine games, so my opinion is coloured.
  4. About the Blade kit proficiencies: I think it's weird they can use quarterstaff and polearms, but not twohanded swords.
  5. In general, don't use EE when using subtledoctor's mods. EE breaks certain scripts.
  6. When playing with the Weaponmaster from M&G and the WPO component, the 9th lvl Weaponmastery ability doesn't use the compiled weapongroups. You get the choice of individual weapons.
  7. From what I've seen, it works on and off. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It's still Battlesong cast from the menu button.
  8. How compatible would those versions be with the Bardic Wonders change? It changes the normal Bard Song to last 3 rounds + 1 round/3 lvl.

  10. They don't have Bard Song ability. That's intended as per the mod Might and Guile. They fight normally, switching to new targets after a kill. They don't cast spells during buffing, no offensive spells, no healing. Unmodded characters do. Same script, same setting. These Bards use a different kind of spellcasting. Please see Might and Guile.
  11. They don't sing, but they are technically Fighter/Mages, as per the Might and Guile mod. I got three modded Bards, all got the scripts assigned, but they don't cast.
  12. Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get the notification. The Bards simply don't cast spells, while other casters do. Unmodded Bards cast too.
  13. @subtledoctor I was wondering if it is possible to edit the files so that unkitted, basic Bards would also be able to get up to three pips in weapons/two in styles.

  15. Not sure whether to post here or in subtledoctor's threads, but your scripts don't seem to work with his Bard component.
  16. Did a re-install, problem no longer occurs. However, I think I found a bug: when my Bladesinger reaches lvl 9 (as mage), they get an ability to advance weapon proficiency, but they can only select weapons with which the proficiency hasn't been maxed out yet. They're supposed to get an ability which designated a weapon as weapon of choice, granting an extra 0.5 attack per round. If you install "Move Archer kit to Fighter" and then "Add Elven Archer", there's no Elven Archer under the Ranger kits. I've also installed the regional Rangers, together with the un-nerfed spell tables for Rangers from Tweaks and at lvl 9, there's still only 1 divine spell slot. (Which appeared at lvl 6.)

  18. I installed the Unearthed Arcana mods in IWD:EE and when I tried to create a Bladesinger (Bard), the game freezes when confirming my memorised spells. Which file should I upload? Is my current installation salvagable or should I start from scratch?
