I agree kinda mostly... whether i like it or not.. its not really consistent and doesnt make sense unless all arcane magic spells/wands rings.. amulets anything that cast a spell like effect ..should trigger them.. maybe even divine too if its not use in a temple.. until the lisc..err worthiness is proven
  4. demi sorry was more focused on as2 and as3 actually working.. and always figured the 2-3 animals versus 4-5 monsters was intentional ..personally since i love playing druids id love to see as brought to 4-5 animals to at least match MS spells... as for the R/CL i totally agree makes much more sense for it to be an R/DR but because of the pnp rules im sure some would muiss the R/cl; if it was totallyremoved..
  5. re tobex and EE it also doesnt enable to comps that allow you to see more than 24 spells selectable.. memorizable..etc.... its been a pain. response ive gotten is they arent real high priority on enebaling the currently disbaled tobex [parts unless one because absoulutly nessacry for a higher priorty fix then need to do ..basiclly unless it becomes in their interest they probably wont do it.. love the modded sppr612 thanks subtle

  7. acckk no no i meant using NI.. l;ol duhs i typoed anyways where in the .spl do i find the flag to set it for party friendly? i know ive run across it bnut bnow when i need it i cant find where in the .spl file using NI it is?
  8. where in a .spl under NI do i find the varible to make an aoe party friendly? or not? i know there was a setting somewhere to make aoe damage only affect enemies.. but for some reason now i cant find where that varible is set... i meant Ni orignally i appearntly typed the wrong thing sorry

  12. other spells dont seem affected least not 1st-4th lvl just as2 and as 3 .. im getting the impression the AS series is cursed seems to be perpetual heacache
  13. a straight druid cant cast AS2 or 3 as1 and as 4 cast fine...bg2ee tested with a shape shifter too and a clean un modded bg2ee dl.. only spell rev newest upload on it...

  16. Theoretically you don't... you just install the SCS fix for the breach spell. And be happy with steroids. so basiclkly only the caster of TS and breach can target and harmthe creature??? btw what about AOE im assuming AOE will damage anything in the Area of effct as long as spell def isnt up...but imp invis shouldnt protect against aoe dam

  18. @ subtle not sure bout wiz slayer havent played one thru yet but ive played a few monks unmodded and using monastic ... and kish overhaul for bgee .. instead of MR give them a phys and or elem resist gain or reduction gain reduction might fit better...... %5 base and then 5 percent per increase.. maybe staggered so at lvl 13 5% phys dam reduct.... at 14 5% mag&acid.. dam reduct at 15 5% elem dam reduct.. skip2 lvls.. so at 18phys dam goes to 10 at 19 mag&acid. dam goes to 10 at 20ele dam goes to 10 ...skip 21 and 22 at lvl 23.. phys dama.red goes to 15 . at lvl 24 mag&acid red goes to 15.. at 25 elem red 15 skip 26 skip27 gains at 28 29 and 30 .... so at lvl 30 elem reduct is 20 phsy red is 20 and mag acid reduct or resist.. is 20 can be either reduct or resist... start at lvl 10 if want.. just an idea the rationale is that mind body training.. allows them to strug off and endure some of the effects.. beyond normal parameters... skip 31 and 32.. gains 33-35 skip 36-37 gains 38-40 so by lvl 40 30% resist .. to elem ,magic , acid and phys or .... 30% reduction ... i kinda think straight damage reduction makes more sense...
  19. i wasnt suggesting perm at all i said make it a hla with limited dur.....and i never meant for the +4/+5 to count for damage bonus... nor for to hit bonus to improve thac0 just for puposes of can hit +4/+5 needed enchants.... hmm i like the lower to hit resist as a aspect of breach.. or pierce magic..thats interesting..
  20. @ kreso but that is exactly the problem saying "oh a monk can use a sword ... its a stylistic thing.. a character who spends his whol;e life specializing and improving unarmed to such an extent.. having to go find a high lvl sword??? to deal with x creature.. "hey mate all your skills are useless....you should have just saved yourself the hassle and been a fighter.. umm you diont say to wizard or priest.geeee sorry you should just use a sword..... the monk should have some viable.. unarmed way of dealing with the situation.. like i said if youre afraid of power make a a sequence of 2 HLA and limit the duration... note HLA so to say TOB is kinda already implied......just cause a monk can use a sword.. doesnt mean its the right way tyo go it feels totally wrong.. ... yes a solution exsit now as youve said.. but this is about improving things.. making better more sensible more stylisitic solutions.. as much as creating entire new content.. @demi ahh the better stress on weapons is a consideration ..but in the wrong direction IMO ..and there are a fair number of occassions for better than +3 even better than +4 to hits needed.... "mantle.. etc...... if you use scs and sr which i do.. a lot of the tob and some of the Soa battles.. just from spell protections... things other classes all have logical ways of circumventing.. telling a monk.. gee mate shoulda been a straight fighter..go find a weapon.. shrug.. personally i like the monk more unarmed focused and feel throwing the extra +1 apr with weaps is giving in and watering it down... from its focus.as concept.. but i can totally appreciate you wanting other players.. fyi im speaking as someone running mopnk and druids thru bgee/2ee right now

  22. well remember its not just creatures innately immune to higher lvls of weap enchants.. its all the wayss mages and priest can make themselves harder to hit.. mantle prot mag weaps.. imp mantle etc... and wiz clrs fighters even theives have means of countering that with higher lvl enchant weaps or spells.. to break thru etc... monks arent really weapons focused and to make a monk use a weapion to deal with all the high lvl priest and wiz.. who use such protections is silly... makes a lot more sense for a 2 hla sequence 1st one buys +4 ench with hands..for to hit only not even a added bonus... if passive always on is too much make it activate 0 cast time.. dur 1 turn.. and make the second hla same deal as the first except +5 ench for to hit calcs.. and requires the lower lvl hla
