  1. Sorry. Bad english perhaps. If you try to change the portraits manually, the game reverts to the ppe drow ones due to this states in each char (see pic). Only after deleting them I was able to revert to normal portraits.

Just open the savegame after the transition, go to the drowish NPCs one by one - there is a change portrait button below each portrait and if you click it you get a menu with the selection for the small and large portrait. You chose their original ones from there. Leave and save. That did not work. Had to remove all the portrait changes CRE defined in near infinity first.
  3. EEKeeper Well... Edited the vars in nearinfinity (removed all portrait related stuff, dozens in each npc) and now I can properly change them.
  4. It worked. But how do I remove the drow portraits now? Save editing does not work.

  7. BG1 items could be given a new quest in BG2 in the dungeon. Like yoshimo trying to prove loyalty by telling main char where his stuff is. And placing the items in a room next to the end of the dungeon (somewhere in the long hall with the traps that become wands). Starting BG2 campaign without a single item from BG1 is a huge break it eet continuity...

  11. Yes. All 4 appear, they die, and sarevok gives the dialog when he says (you killed my acolites and taken my shield...... I am the god of murder!). Perhaps a SCS bug?   14. I actually found a bug after rescuing her. I paused the game after accepting her, she was the 7th element so the party reform menu appears right when I paused. Saved and she remained with the purple-ish circle, no conversation possible, and Minsc did not complain. Moved on.
  15. Right... Did the ducal palace battle again and now Denkor appears in the thief guild opening the stairs bellow. No idea what went wrong in the previous battle. BTW, the char that makes the entire guild attack if you refuse to join is ravenscar. Here's a save right in front of him. 000000043-eet.7z

  20. Hey. In BG1, when shar teel and dorn are suposed to have a fight, they have the conversation, but no fight actually ocurs, and the chars are no longer selectable. Is this a known bug from any of the mods?
  21. Erhm what's confusing about that ? Except the fact I had to edit your post just a bit.. the normal BGEE is not the SoD, as it doesn't include the expansion, so you can't use it... exactly like you can't use just the BG1 to make the BGT-weidu, as it also requires the TotSC expansion. And the ToB expansion... to the BG2:SoA. So to say it accurately; the BG1EE:SoD is required. Or like K4thos says: When you buy SoD from beamdog, it claims it needs bg:ee, so some people are tricked into thinking they need to install bgee first (I was, and I've been installing games since the first ms-dos), then SoD, so you end up with two installs. Then when it says to install the mods into bg:ee you will install them into the wrong version, since only later you will realize the folder you need for EET is the SoD one (and you realize it actually has the full bg:ee game). Not actually a EET problem, just a beamdog's lousy explanation.
  22. Well, for now eet is a RC for testing, not exactly a n00b proof install (not even BWS will be, later next year). Guess all these small things will come into a proper read me and install instructions.
  23. Install went smooth. Only those 2 small problems already reported. Decided to go with SoD ui with the ui mods (great looks). No graphic overhaul since bugs were reported (lines?).
