  1. I don't know which subject I should use but I've just had a weird thing happen as I met Rasaad. Luckily, I have a save just before(though not just before entering trademeet). He was in the street next to the High Merchant's home, I had the discussion with himto recruit him, I did and then kicked him out then I went north to the center of the town and the cutscene where he beats other monks happened weirdly. Here's the save, he's to the right outside the building.
  2. I've had that happen a lot too. The 0 stack item can however be sold. I've also had "invalid : 9999999" appear on the ground with no icon. I could grab them, and if I put them on the ground again, they'd turn to a 0 stack item. I should have a save of it if someone wants to look at it.
  3. However, i'm pretty sure you don't need to reinstall anything, you can just grab the right UI.menu in the EET folder and go with it?
  4. Well it's no big deal it seems, I did it a second time to screencap the dialog and it didn't happen again. I'm pretty sure it was the "just kicked out from party" dialog I got earlier. Not sure what happened but heh ¯\(ツ)/¯
  5. It works, he initiates dialog as if I just kicked him from the party but then I can initiate dialog with him to start his quest. Thank you !
  6. Oh ok, I misunderstood the problem, could I technically use a save from before the temple district but after SoD and replace him in the save? (I have the chapter debut etc) If it's linked to his character it might be plausible actually. I'm still a noob when it comes to modding though. Edit : If yes, how can I do that? I'm looking at the .gam in NI right now but I don't see any obvious way to do it.
  7. I have already visited the temple district, but I haven't done much there, I basically walked around to get to the other maps. I'm afraid of what would happen if I were to reset the map and go through the eyeless cutscene again as it could mess up some stuff I guess. It's however not much so I guess someone with the skills could restore the variables to a post eyeless cutscene(I don't care much for the garrick one tbh).
  8. Yay! She's there. Good job again. Tell me about the temple district thing though, I have no idea how to "reset" a map from a save and then partly restore it.
  9. Actually, I forgot I was careful, I went back to the autosave before entering the government district so I haven't entered it yet in the latest save. This leaves the government district with the gaal cutscene and the garrick cutscene to reset. However, there's another good option for evil fighter so it might not be worth bothering with it, i can just skip playing with dorn and test the fix by recruiting Viconia. I have no idea how much work is an area reset so up to you, I can make do without it.

Mmm, I did play a bunch more(just went through durlag's tower!) but I barely walked into the government district(just enough to see she wasn't there) and I only got the Gaal cutscene in the temple district so a reset of the government district shouldn't be an issue and it could be possible to work around the temple district. It might be too much work though in which case i guess I can try spawning them via console. I tried executing the MoveGlobal line via console without success at bringing her back.
  11. I had them both up to the end of SoD. Viconia left with a mini banter commenting on Skie's murder and Dorn disappeared during the following black screen (transition between Dragonspear and Baldur's Gate).

  13. I currently have 2 long swords + 1 which should probably be merged in 1 item. Only the description vary but it's not specific like for the plate mail. They did not get similarly affected by the lore changes of item revision and that's how I found out, I also don't know which one appear when. SW1H05 description : SW1H05S description : I'd suggest taking the first description for all long swords +1. Is this EET made? It doesn't use the _ affixe so i'd guess not but then who would made 2 different identical items for a single game? Edit : Also just got a ring of fire resistance that has a very short description compared to the one I had already. It looks like the Beamdog made generic weapons have very short descriptions compared to the originals and aren't always merged. Still a guess, i'll keep track of other similar cases(though I won't catch them all). Edit 2: Well, another! The ring of Free Action bought in SoD isn't the same as the one looted at the Iron Throne HQ... I'd be curious as to why Beamdog did that...

  17. I'm having a problem with Viconia in SoD, she's constantly initiating dialogue with my character, i'm not sure what's the normal behavior supposed to be. Would someone know a workaround to make her stop until I see if it happens to another npc ?

  19. Could it be due to Vynd's code being adapted for BGT ? Not sure how'd that work but could be a lead. He's compatible with BGT.
  20. I just don't remember the name of the map, it bugged after the departure of the army from Baldur's Gate.(first "new" map you see was what I meant). It's the one where there is the cave for the Dwarves of Durmathoin quest.
  21. Since this is about npc, I had a weird bug today, I have Vynd installed he wasn't kicked from the party after korlasz's dungeon like the other npcs. Instead, he stayed with me through baldur's gate and when I switched to the first map of SoD(with the dwarves), he got stuck in unselectable mod and was nowhere to be found on the map though he still was in my party. I believe the mod has no SoD part yet so he should probably just leave the party at the end of Korlasz's tomb. I'll notify the modder about it on the bg forums but it could be nice to have some info on what's the "standard" behaviour for this.
  22. I'm chapter 7 and I've found one other item so far, i'm pretty sure both of those were included in vanilla or BGEE so i'll play until later to find if there's a link. The other item is Telbar's studded leather armor, it isn't included in IR's index though unlike the ankheg plate mail. Edit : I just looked for the Ankheg plate mails and there are 2 types of ankheg plate mail, PLAT06_(non modified by IR) and PLAT06(modified by IR). Maybe those 2 should be merged ? (Taerom makes PLAT06_ armors) Telbar's only in one file though so it's probably a mistake on IR's part. I should be less lazy! I'll report if I find similar cases to the ankheg plate mail.
  23. I'm not sure I understood correctly, feel free to correct me if I didn't. L_en_us.LUA isn't in the folder either in a clean BG2 install. It is in the override after using EET and only EET on a BGEE game. It's much like UI.menu, it isn't anywhere in the bg folder by default but it can still be overriden. Recap: File isn't on vanilla BGEE. File isn't on vanilla BG2EE. File is on EET manual install. File can't be found for copy during BWS install. So I guess it's due to either a buffer type of issue(ie file isn't written to the right folder when it's being looked for but in an temp folder) or the file is looked for too early in the process.

Yes this is my version, the bug seems to be due to the way BWS handles EET(with the option unhidden) because I went through the installation process manually and it worked out, i'm currently testing. It probably means that BWS will need to be updated for it to work once EET 1.0 is released. On a vanilla install, L_en_US.LUA can't be found. I guess it's because it's not been overriden yet. On my current(working and non BWS) EET install, it's present in the override folder so I assume BWS asks for it before it's been overriden. I remember installing EET via BWS before SoD's integration so it's probably due to a change made since then.
