  1. I prefer her this way tbh. Being one-shot by lightning bolts at that level isn't fun. Yeah, I think that was my logic too. It's an unnecessarily difficult intro to SCS. (Tarnesh is bad enough!) In v32 he doesn't spontaneously teleport. He should teleport away if you're in melee range; does he? Yeah, he does. My previous test char died too fast.
  2. Always the way... OK: Davaeorn - can reproduce, fixed, quick update to RC4 Shandalar - can reproduce, but not sure what's going on, no time to fix without risking breaking something Silke - looks ok at quick examination, but no time to check further The rest will have to wait a few days, sorry. Sorry about being a bearer of bad news. Shandalar bug might be from older version (candidate 2 maybe, I had an older installation and it had it too) Is Silke even supposed to prebuff then? She starts with Emotion: Hopelessness in my game, followed by a minor sequencer with blur and mirror image. Bu tthere is no "x cast previously" for anything. Having just looked: Silke isn't supposed to prebuff. I can't immediately remember why; I think it might just be a concession to how difficulty that encounter is for level-1 characters. I prefer her this way tbh. Being one-shot by lightning bolts at that level isn't fun. Davaeorn prebuffs and is hostile now but doesn't teleport around anymore. Also, the demon knight's mirror at Durlag's tower doesn't do anything, even at insane/hardcore settings from the widget.

  4. Something's wrong with candidate 4 I think. Several casters aren't prebuffing (Silke, Shandalar, Daevorn at least). Also, Daevorn just stands there when I run towards him. No other mods (except DLCmerger), new installation, new save. I'm on latest version on BG 1 EE with SoD.
  5. What does the new "test" component do? (1st in installation, b4 IWD spells)
  6. Here's a pic of the buggy Hobgoblin Warrior/Archer names from Monster Summoning I: https://i.gyazo.com/4c0680f42e5b440f2cf17d92fb03f210.jpg It's only in BG1EE, the ones in BG2EE are fine. Regular hobgoblins in the wilderness didn't have this. Haven't seen any other dialogue/name related bugs so far.
  7. ya OK: I think I now understand this (at least enough to fix it). Would you mind trying the following: - using Notepad or similar, edit stratagems/leveller.tpa - Find line 1138, which is currently cebear01 ttbran ttimoen ttjaheir ttminsc ttxan arkani cander deder mordai osprey BEGIN - change it to read cebear01 ttbran ttimoen ttjaheir ttminsc ttxan arkani cander deder mordai osprey charbase BEGIN (i.e., add "charbase" just before "BEGIN") - reinstall the NPC customization component. If I'm right, that should fix the problem. (And if so, I'll do a RC2 fairly shortly-probably this evening - as this is a critical bug.) Yup, that fixed it!
  8. Also, another bug with monster summoning I: Hob Goblins summoned by the spell have lengthy snippets of random dialogue for their names ("pieces and a small duck was no way to get ahead in business".
  9. I can't reproduce this. Can you give me an exact reproduction scenario (and ideally a weidu.log)? Just reinstalled the game again, just in case. It still happens. Immediately after character creation, the PC dings in Candlekeep. I go through level up/spend points and after leaving the level up menu I get another level. This continues until it reaches the lvl cap. When leveling up a sorcerer this way, it won't let me pick most of the spells. They're pre-selected, like I assume they would be for followers with this component?
  10. Beetles appear fine for me (BG 1 EE latest version). The additional spells from IWD are much appreciated and make druids less boring. Installation is also much faster compared to old version. Improved NPC customisation and management component makes a fresh lvl 1 PC level up until the xp cap in BG 1. I assume this is intended and it's for testing purposes?
  11. V32 sounds exciting! Can you say how much it changes BG1 compared to v31 in terms of encounter difficulty? Or does it mostly affect BG2 with it's high level casters? I was going to start a new playthrough but I'll wait if v32 is drastically different even in BG1.
