The EE Mod Setup Tool (for windows) Overwiew EET installs get more complex now that more and diverse mods are available to enhance the basic game. K4thos, the EET author recommended BWS for save installs when he started the project. However, original BWS has lost the supporters it had in the past and slowly decayed. This tool is aiming to provide similar functionality to mod EE games in large scale. The BWS-EE is a fork from Big World Setup (BWS old) which was originally created by dabus. BWS-EE is streamlined to serve EE game installations in a way that is up-to-date and maintainable still. While the tool was mainly intended to support EET, it also can be used to mod other EE games as listed below. Features: - assistance for creating your own customized game with any number of mods - downloading current versions of selected mods - easy mod installation for EET - correct install order of mods/components - merges SoD DLC with BGEE if needed - handle mod and components conflicts and dependencies - apply interim fixes when needed. - use players' tested compilations - save your own compilations for re-use or sharing Supported games: - Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition (standalone game) - Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition (standalone game) - Enhanced Edition Trilogy EET( BG1:EE + SoD + BG2:EE ) - Planescape: Torment Enhanced Edition - Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition Supported mods - All actively maintained or properly completed ones! During my past 2 runs of BWS i've received an error when it hits the Romance Cheats install. "Error unexpected end of file". I re-downloaded the cdtweaks.exe to verify it wasn't an issue from a bad download, error persists. Setup-cdtweaks.7z
Hello there! I dont think this was posted before now so I thought I would post my findings and see if anyone else has gotten this far with the new Siege of Dragonspear game. I have been playing around with mods on the EE games for about a week now (installing different ones to test compatibility etc) and i think I have a stable game running a version of Big World Setup using the recommended BGEE install. I was almost certain it would break the game but everything seems to be working other than the portrait packs as far as i can tell. Im goingto play a bit more and see if SCS and the others seem to work. Ill let everyone know more in a few hours
Hi! I have BiG World Setup and I am in Hell battling Jon. He's insanely difficult and on a whole different difficulty level than anything else I've experienced. You can see what I'm talking about here: http://www.shsforums.net/topic/55762-spoilers-impossible-final-battle-in-bg2-with-big-world-setup/ It seems that I have tactics + SCSII module of Improved Irenicus installed, but I don't know how to uninstall it. I run SETUP-SCSII.exe and get prompted by this (This is from SETUP-SCSII.DEBUG file): Install Component [Improved Irenicus in Hell (Tactics remix)]? [N]o, [Q]uit or choose one: 1] Tactics-SCSII hybrid 2] Faithful adaptation of the Tactics version Already Asked About [Improved Irenicus in Hell (Tactics remix)] [./override/dw#AIsetup.mrk] loaded, 114 bytes There is no Uninstall option. If I press "N", it just skips it and Improved Irenicus stays. How do I uninstall this module so I can finally end BG2? Thanks!
