  1. Turnabout is fair play. The Turnabout mod adds a new wrinkle to the final fight in Throne of Bhaal, enabling the player to recall up to three dead allies to aid in the battle. Seven possible allies are available: Dynaheir Tiax Khalid Xzar Gorion Yoshimo Alianna (the PC's mother) My update, made 14 years after the mod's release (to be clear, I have nothing to do with the original team), makes this classic mod compatible with EE, as well as fixes critical bugs present in the first version. A version is also provided for the original BG2, for users who don't want to use EE but want the fixes present in my update. Download the mod here. Turnabout requires that Ascension v2.0 be installed. It can be downloaded here.
  2. Version v9

Tyris Flare is a red-haired amazon from ye olde Golden Axe computer games that were released on the Sega Mega Drive (or Genesis in America) and arcade machines in the 90s. Learn more about the mod View the Readme Visit the Forum Visit the Gallery
  3. Version v19

The Crossmod Banter Pack is a collaborative effort to add banters between NPC's from mods that add content to Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal. Learn more about the mod View the Readme Visit the Forum
  4. I playing in bg2 with my lawful-good Diviner, which is a black-skinned half-elf male, protagonist. Named Ki`Izikiel The Badlucky One . And I want to make his own an easy spell (something like a "Ki's Lightning Bolt") that will be 1st or 2nd or 3rd level. How to easily perform this action with the NearInfinity program??? Is there any chance to make some 'handmade' animation?? Thanx for the answers.
  5. Something a very unhappy happens. After the hard battle against the mighty a'cursed Kagnaxx I started to resolve the quest to save Imoen (that was so hard to collect that dozens and a dozens thousands of gold.. without stealing and killing an innocent NPC). And in the some tomb, I realized that my avatar (protagonist) have no his Scroll Case - THE SAME THING happened with my "Ring of Regeneration" , some time before the Scroll Case lost, I tried to find the ring, but without any success (I think the ring has been buried somewhere in the lair of Unseeing Eye...). THIS IS A CURSE! My protagonist is the cursed one! The Scroll Case was filled off with a powerful protective scrolls (such as protections from undeads, acid, etc), LOT of a very useful spells (such as anti-magic, anti-invisibility, AoE , undead summoning etc) and the finally that was full of quest items such as "The Book of Kaza" (I do not know where I can put this book in but an obviously that is a quest item.). I used "The Brick +2" against that stupid Kagnaxx, but I remembered that my Diviner was too far from it... And obviously he have not used any magic there... So I have doubts that the reason is a Wild Surge, Is there any of GAMELOG or something where I can found the some notations about WHERE THE HELL IS my protagonist's Scroll Case?? P.S. "The Brick +2" was a very useful against Kagnaxx - "Kagnaxx the Demilich: Soul Trap my protagonist" "Kagnaxx the Demilich: Wild Surge - Blinded" Lol... Ahahahha.
  6. OMFG! What they have done with my party 'core member" ... Would be better enhance the game feature , like gameplay, but not mess with characters like they does with Khalid, Denaheira, and now... . If I will reload save-game file, and the I will fought so-stupid-called "JI" without the help of 'inhabitants' . THE WILL BE ALIVE AFTER THE BATTLE? Insane difficulty, tactics, SCS (hardest options), and still so-stupid-called "JI" is a wicked one. Really compare to foes that my party have the battles with, "JI" is a little bit more powerful than a casual bandit group... Especially after the *Sillya and Kagnaxx that is a frigging almost unstoppable killing machines.... Even the casual Bodhi-gang with an Ancient Vampire is a much more tougher than "JI" with the all hist spell... I though he must be an awesome opponent - on the cut-scenes he looks tough (of course an evil and stupid, but tough as well) This "JI" making the same trick that was in Durlag's Tower (Deamon Knight and his super-mirror). And I realized how my party is still weak . Diviner - My protagonist have no protective spells remembered (except "Shield" and "Mass Invisibility"), and my diviner have no protective scrolls, so there NOT my Diviner was just a meat... 1 Hit by Minsc, equipped with "Mace +3" x2 = "Badly Injured" hahahha, 35 HP - 8 Constitution, 10 AC - 8 Dexterity. this is a not for combat . Bu anyway he have an AWESOME arsenal of the very destructive AoE and deadly magic like a "Disintigration" , and what he doing?? He used almost absolutely useless "Remove Magic", and soon after falling.. - pathetic! The super SCS AI working well only if the magician have some prebuff, or at list protective spells remembered but on insane difficulty - DAMAGE > ANTI-MAGIC in most cases, the single "Skull Trap" or a "Ice/Fire Storm" can easily wipe out the half of my party... Ranger - was not so bad. Even switched to close combat weapon. Monk - was good , and really that was a fun to look how two Monks kicking each others, but 'evil' one not using his ability to "Flaming Fist" that is a not good,, Illusionist/Thief - was pathetic. Perhaps because he did not have an offensive spells, at least he can hit with "Magic Missile", but he did not.. Shapeshifter - was a REAL threat. Not bad, not bad... I even thought I need to focus him with "Disintegrate" but he died from my allies. In general SCS with Shapeshifters on Insane is not so bad. Mage/Thief - little bit better than Illusionist, but also pathetic.
  7. I am trying to cross off BG2:EE on the hardest difficulty setting that I found (Insane + SCS + Tactics for EE adn so on.), also I making the manual that maybe will helps someone playing on the same difficulty (The manual like I made for BG1:EE). But I am a sentimental one so I need to play in my own fairytale and that because I need a strongly motivated characters in the my 'final party' for a walkthrough. E.g. from BG1:EE - Rashaad the SUN SOUL MONK, he was a very motivated to fight against an evil, if my avatar jumps to the bloody lair of a blaze demon overlord itself, Rashaad jumps for without any idle or thinking or regretting. The Same was with Khalid, Jaheira, Ajantis and Imoen . But in the BG2:EE all is different. The First thing that I realized in the BG2:EE that the characters is SCATTERED so hard... Though I will pick up the final party fast but after the couple of quests I realized how I was wrong... I spent time not to search of characters but to resolve the annoying quests with LIMITED time to complete it. My not final party fought hundreds of an enemies, on 12 lvl (the avatar was 9th-10th on beginning of the game because of transporting from BG1:EE + The Black Pits) even defeated the DRAGON that was tough like a bloody hell itself... . But still I have no find the my final party. For now the party is: My Avatar (Diviner), Minsc (Ranger), Yoshimo (Dounty Hunter), Jaheira (Fighter/Druid), Jan (Illusionist/Mage), Mazzy (Fighter). I need a some advices. I try to release Minsc and his Hamster, but they just stands where I left them . So regretting the all of horrible things that Jonny prepared for the party, I can not to left Minsc, because without his friend and leader - Dehaneir , he is obviously helpless and to be sure Minsc alone will got in a some troubles, he will be killed or he will kill the someone innocent in a rage (that is a more likely...). So I can not just left Minsc alone... . Yoshimo is a capable one, he can make a very deadly traps, he is no a good one, and probably he killed some innocents in the past, but I hope he did not... The party with Yoshimo almost from the very beginning , but still Yoshimo is one of the my main candidates for replacing. In general I do not think that Yoshimo will jump to the abyss if my jumps to there first.... But I spent many battles with Yoshimo and I have sorrows about it. Jaheira - this character suffers too much, and mostly because of my avatar. . . And I think it is will be not a fair thing when Jaheira will suffer even more, I tried to release Jaheira from beginning but then starts a hell long sequence of quests (Like I realize after...). And I just can not releas her before I the party will done that quest, because she saying that she have no place to go and if I will release her , Jaheira will never return . Jan - Omg, The crazy, the almost insane gnome with a huge crossbow that shooting with a BOMBS - he is the perfect character to hunting down a bold Jonny , indeed. The party must have . And his bombs is a super useful, one of that bombs was a reason of death a very annoying Revanek - the fighter with crossbow and two-handed sword from a Shangalar gang. And he is super capable with a locks, with a traps even with a enemy ILLUSIONS! Mazzy - the very good and motivated character, that have a superior skill with a Shortbows and who can perform a very hard kick in the close combat with a Shortswords . The party must have indeed. She is one of the top damage dealers of a party, and obviously when Jonny will have some feelings of a cold steel of Mazzy's strongly motivated blade in his ... I am will be happy . The party needs a HEALER because without healer my party is almost helpless... Because I have no money to by such lot amount of a potions. When I release Jaheira, I need a healer, where I can found this healer??? Any directions? Aerie, or Anomen, I do not think so, Anomen have no good motivation, Aerie same as Jaheira, she is suffers too much and I do not want to bring off a 'fresh meat' for a mad Jonny... If I will have no choice, I will pick Anomen, he was a very capable against undead creatures. His heal and the protective magic is an incredible too. I need Rashaad or someone , that I will replace Yoshimo when I will done his quest, but I cannot found Rashaad ;/. I have found Neera (that the same Neera that is do not like the Red Wizards, from BG1:EE I do not like them too...). But Chaotic magic it is too much for me, really I have fair enough of a crazy mad an overpowered magicians like Jonny is. . . So for now I do no know what a final party will be. At least I need the party that will not be catches off unaware like my previous one from BG1:EE . . . Thanks for an advices.

    Lucky Minsc.

+ + = I want to say no more, good work Minsc and good luck to you in the future! If someone will have a difficulties to run out from that cursed a stupid trap in the Bridge District, on Insane difficulty, I will post the full battle tactic soon.
  9. G3's Tyris Flare NPC, by Grim Squeaker, has been updated by Argent77, and is now available for your BG2:SoA, BG2:ToB, BGT, and BG2:EE games. Meet Tyris Flare, a red-haired amazon who can kick ass and hurl fire! Sound familiar? That's because she used be in Golden Axe! But now she's lost in the Umar Hills and looking for the love of a good (or bad) Bhaalspawn. This latest version of Tyris has a couple of miscellaneous fixes, updates WeiDU, and is now available for Linux and for install on BG2:EE thanks to Argent77. 11. Hello I actually have a small doubt regarding BG2 Fixpacks (windows) (currently at v10) Recently, completed my BG2:EE session and thought about asking whether all the fixes from BG2 Fixpack (till date) are implemented in BG2:EE as well? If you check out the discussions on BG2:EE Forums many players are reporting bugs which were clearly fixed by the BG2 Fixpack in the past. Since the team was part of BG2:EE development, I am confused whether all the fixpack changes made into final release of BG2:EE and if not, to what extent they are introduced in the BG2:EE by the Developers? Please let me know about this and what should I expect in future for BG2:EE from the Team of BG2 Fixpack and the Gibberlings3 Modding Community!
