  1. Hello I am writing in the name of my friend who have problems with this mod on installation level. At some point it doesn't successfully install components which ends up with characters gibberish in numbers, and even ruining sound drivers. Without the mod, game itself runs fine. I suspect the problems lies in pc itself since i used same mod version 23.3 with bg and it runs without any problems. But I am not sure as i don't have knowledge in IT, and I want to get what could be the problem, how to fix it, or at least wheres should I look to find whats wrong. More detailed: the installation crashes at part where Tiax is suppose to show up, and time between the characters banters.
  2. The installation program gives me a load of error message related to the unsuccessful parsing of some files in stratagems_external/workspace\ssl_out\. Examples include: [tb#_compile_eval_buffer/stratagems_external/workspace\ssl_out\dw2ms3ba.baf] PARSE ERROR at line 2044 column 1-41 Near Text: ) [CheckStatGT] argument [ENCHANTMENT_IMMUNITY] not found in [stats.IDS] [tb#_compile_eval_buffer/stratagems_external/workspace\ssl_out\dw#1tmg5.baf] PARSE ERROR at line 16999 column 1-96 Near Text: ) [CheckStatGT] argument [DW_ITEM_MM] not found in [stats.IDS] which all point to some missing items within stats.ids, and in which I actually cannot find any item such as dw_item_mm or chantment_immunity I am not sure whether it is because that I run vanilla BGT instead of EE or EET, so the program skips some files during installation-- i have no error messages when i install SCS on bgee. Or that it is an error specific to my system or my copy of bgt, or that I have not installed some pre-requisite elements. I am running vanilla BGT with but BG2 fixpack installed. I set my non-unicode language code to japanese but i doubt that matters because those items referenced in files that have parsing errors are not to be found in stats.ids in the first place. i cannot find out what enchantment_immunity or dw_item_mm mean on the net and i just want to be reassured that they wont cause problems for me. // I have also encounter a really weird glitch during my playthrough, but i am not sure whether its caused by scs, or tweak anthology components that i installed after scs, or conflicts with bg2fixpack or that it is inherent in bgt. Kagain in my party, when we are at fisherman's lake where drizzt is about, would spout whole lines from the quest completion journal entry of that quest where you go fetch a book for elvenhair....but when i reload my save he doesnt speak like that anymore.....and when i reload again (my main char died).. he again speaks....my journal entry.. after each time he speaks the party would gain and lose an item, which i cant verify what exactly it is since there are a load of loot we are carrying and also the item removed might also be that item we temporarily gained. It doesnt sound like problems caused by scs or tweak anthology since i didnt install anything that alters npc dialogues or npc location....but other than those two mods i have only fixpack and trilogy mod... // one more odd glitch that i am not sure whether its caused by scs, tweak anthology or inherent in trilogy with fixpack.... that injured hobgoblin in fisherman's lake, turns hostile as soon as he is spotted, and gives no dialogue to advance his quest. I could only find a forum thread related to this bug but its apparently for bgee instead of trilogy, so i suspect that bgee inherits this problem from adapting elements of fixpack and trilogy...but i can find no other mentions of this glitch in bgt and no fix either.     Language during Gavin NPC installation

    Hello, I tried to install Gavin NPC v9. But the setup is automatically choosing French as language, but I want to have English. Does anyone know how to change that?
  4. Being told the entire installation failed because the cloakwood mines, bg1801.are, doesn't have a valid-pointing list of stuff to spawn when resting isn't cool. Not by a longshot. Especially when validating the install, reapplying modmerge and running the installer again gives the same results. Is there any chance of breaking the installation into smaller chunks so as to minimize the amount of wasted time from trying to determine just what exactly is the issue with particular things? As I'm typing this I realized I should hve uploaded the debug file but I already started it running again, just hoping that it was a random fluke error.
  5. Hi all I'm installing Undead Targos (for IWD2) under PlayOnLinux. IWD2 runs fine, but when I install Undead Targos all I find are goblins when I start a new game. Has anyone had success installing Undead Targos under Linux? I know something has changed in the file system because when I tried to repeat the installation I had a warning message that the files already existed. Thanks!
  6. I'd like to set up a tp2 so that, when it detects which platform it's using, it records that in a Global (which my dialogue files can read...) eg. T1GameIs 1 = vanilla BG, T1GameIs 2 = BGT, T1GameIs 3 = EE... Is there an easy way to do that?

    GemRB Not Installing - iOS

    Hi, I came across GemRB awhile ago and being able to play Balder's Gate and Planescape: Torment on my iPad seemed like a great idea. I had to wait quite sometime for iOS 7 to be jailbreakable, but I have finally gotten around to sorting that out. After jailbreaking, I downloaded the latest version of GemRB and attempted to install it through iTunes. It appears to complete, but the icon on my iPad 2 remains that dull colour it has when something is still installing. Tapping on the icon just replaces the app name with "installing..." and nothing happens. I've tried leaving it for 10-15 minutes and the "installing..." eventually clears, just for it to appear again when I click the icon again. GemRB is also not appearing in the file sharing section on iTunes, so I have been unable to transfer my version of Planescape: Torment onto the iPad yet. I've tried installing a couple of versions of GemRB, each producing the same effect. Am I doing something wrong?
  8. I'm referring to the Android version. I managed to successfully run BG2 in the already available GemRB app in the Android Market, but got frequent crashes so I wanted to upgrade to version 8.X. I downloaded the latest version from here: http://sourceforge.n.../android/0.8.0/ Installed the APK, but upon running it I get a FATAL error and a gemrb directory is being created with only a bg1 sub-directory in it and error logs. I tried copying the files from the already working GemRB version from the Android Market to that gemrb directory, then I tried copying them to the app-data/gemrb as well and even tried upgrading the app directly, all to no avail. What seems to be the problem and how do I work around this, please? Thanks in advance
