  1. Some mods in EET require the BGT worldmap so make sure you haven't installed one of those. New map choice has only effect in new games. You can alternatively delete worldmap.wmp from your saved game but then all visited areas appear as unexplored.

I guess it is no harm if I upload this file in the hope that somebody can fix it:

    attachicon.gift-1002.rar

This is a copy of an original area

ARD008 aka (AR0508) Durlag's Tower, fire elemental challenge (fourth subterranean level) The area name depends on which game you use.

So maybe it can be repaired by making a copy of the mos from that area with the name T-1002.mos.

Yeah, thanks although I have no idea what other 3 are.

It's not possible to make that out, they're just too small and insignificant. All are copies of original game areas but their size is corrupted. One is a tomb and the others are small inside rooms. No clue.

  4. The might and guile mod updated recently after a serious bug was discovered. How can I update this mod in my eet mod setup? Could I update the eet tool to use the newest version?

I just updated to start a new installation and it says that the tool was updated to Might_and_Guile-3.7.8-0 some hours ago.

Check the EE-Game-Setup-Version.txt that is in the same place as the start.vbs.

  5. Thanks @Roxanne for that trip into history.

I played BGT some times and I remember those events. I always thought Mae'Var was the kidnapper and always was afraid he would remember that during the Aran quest. It made me feel good to kill him in the end.

I did not notice that in the new game the thieves had different lines. Maybe with old memory you still think the boss there is Mae'Var.

    Yet another approach:

Use cygwin to install SCS using Linux weidu 64-bit
    - require linux know-how, case-sensitive problems, installation time is 5x slower, so 1h for AI become 5h
    Use Windows Subsystem for Linux:
    - require linux know-how
    - require Windows 10 RS4 17110 or later / Windows 10 RS5 17643 or later
    - enable Windows Subsystem for Linux feature, install Ubuntu/Debian from Windows Store
    - set you BG partition as case-insensitive:
    fsutil.exe file setCaseSensitiveInfo <pathToBG2EE> disable
, this will save you from case-sensitive errors for WSL
    - open WSL, download weidu Linux 64-bit, extract binary to /mnt/<windowsDriveLetter><pathToBG2EE>, set executable flag
    - install SCS from WSL by executing ./setup-stratagems

But the installation time is 10x slower, installing first component "Initialise mod (all other components require this)" took 11 minutes while on Windows 32-bit took one minute!

Im posting this as it might improve for in next version of WSL but now such solution can't be effectively solution for the "Out of memory" problem.

    Question from an idiot

I have windows 10 but how can I tell that I have Windows 10 RS4 17110 or later / Windows 10 RS5 17643 or late like you require?
