  1. Hello, I recently installed the original CD version of Baldur's Gate, US version, in Windows 10 and it gave me the error message "Wrong Version: This version will only run on English Language operating systems". I have never seen this before. The GOG version runs just fine and I'm pretty sure I played the CD version on Windows XP years ago without this problem.

I thought that maybe my patch files were wrong. I looked at this site and in Sorcerer's.net and they only have this file: BGTalesUS5512.exe
        CRC-32: a45f1058
        MD5: 26f2d8b73bcdf940c52f60e4d7ba95e2
        SHA-1: 0f44384feb44d60f17ea7c3d44308a7c2ea5d05b

    and BGTalesDX8English.exe
        CRC-32: c18c97cd
        MD5: b539c05ffee2a02717b7bbd17bf00d0b
        SHA-1: e82897efc9eb81dd72d8a6704b3a31df407b9a74

The patch that I used is bgtosc_us_1.3.5521.exe
        CRC-32: 97a05a71
        MD5: 723b8e2ece269034bd14c65a9623a343
        SHA-1: 85c1adb7e6a5bc7f6c850253bde62ca95d36e403

I got it from fileplanet. Is it not an official patch? It fixes the DX8 bug and I think I don't need BGTalesDX8English.exe

The GOG version is 1.3.5521 so how do I patch the CD version to 5521 instead of 5512 without any problems?
