No, thank you for your beautiful doggo-companion. I can't imagine travelling the Forgotten Realms without it.
I'm a bit late with the Russian translation, but I'll finish it in a couple of days. It's all the easier since I've already done Gray's quest. -

Recently completed SoD and I can say that the new ham quest is great! The quest is relatively simple, fun and original. The only thing that confused me:
Spoilerat the very beginning of the mission, I searched the whole area near the coalition camp, but, of course, found nothing. Perhaps it would make sense to give some sort of non-obvious hint that searching in that location will yield nothing?
Also, I want to suggest you a new idea for a mod (SoA-part).
SpoilerThe backstory is that I lost Gray in the final battle in Avernus. And here: what if make his death in that battle inevitable (and dramatic) as a cutscene? But MC can't resurrect him and leaves Hell. Then Gray is resurrected by the inhabitants of Avernus, but he escapes them and returns (I don't know how, with the power of love ) to his master/mistress in the second chapter of SoA? Of course, he was resurrected in Hell, already as a Hellhound. Accordingly, Grey would have to get his new portrait, some resistance to fire and vulnerability to cold. But he'll still be a loving and loyal dog.
Just in case, I "sketched" some new portraits of Gray in the neural network (image free to use, no copywriting):
Of course, I'm not talking about crossmode. And the idea itself could be a lead-in for a future personal quest for Gray related to Avernus, for example.

I wouldn't like it either if my mod was changed without my permission. But, given the circumstances, this point of yours gives off too much of a purist vibe. IMHO this is nothing more than a technical correction that does not require the author's permission.

I'm currently clearing Durlag's Tower in Chapter 5, so I don't want to start the game over. Is it possible to teleport through the console to the tunnel behind Feldpost's Inn and start guild quests that way? Or will I have to start a new game?

I would like to offer you some ideas for your mod, I hope they interest you:
1. Tactical Dog Backpacks for Grey (Dog Backpack). With the idea of a downgrade, reducing the number of inventory cells from 16 to 4 for the same allowable weight load. This will make the mod more realistic.
2. A young, inexperienced demon got into the dog's body by mistake, and when the protagonist tries to exorcise him, he eagerly exorcises him With all his might, helping the protagonist with the exorcism rite, telling him the right actions, and panicking at the inaccuracies in the rite. Now this is the upcoming quest for the Athkatla Search Guild & More mod (SoA) (with another dog, of course). But, as it seems to me, this quest would suit Grey much better.
