  1. Hi Everyone, 

    I'm wondering if anyone here might have some insight into what's going on with my character. This is a Pale Master (sorcerer kit) from The Artisan's Kitpack, I also have the bonus spell slots from stats installed from Scales of Balance.

    My Sorcerer is level 4 - according to the spell progression table, they should have base 3 lvl2 casts per day, minus 1 from the kit, but plus 1 from having 14 charisma. Immediately after resting, my character will have 4 lvl2 casts... but a second or two later, will have this reduced to 1. I used quicksave to capture the before and after in EEKeeper - there is a Wizard Spell Slots Modifier effect that substracts 2 slots immediately after resting. Then after a second or two, 3 of that modifier are added that subtract 1 slot a piece, leaving my character with only 1 lvl2 cast per day.

    I am completely confused as to what is going on. Apparently, my Sorcerer has 6 base casts which is being reduced by 5. These numbers dont make any sense to me. Any ideas?

    I wanted to stop by to report a bug?  The arcane Protection from Elemental Energy spell casts then at the bottom of the screen where I assume I would normally be given some options

    (what type of elemental protection I would assume)  but the bar is blank as shown in this picture:

    I dont THINK I have anything installed that would be incompatible, but I cant be 100% sure.

     

    I have the exact same issue with Protection from Elemental Energy. I thought it was Bub's Spell Menu but you having the same problem makes me think it's something else. Ive attached screenshot showing the blank page as well as the log. Hope we can get a fix, I'd hate to lose this entire run to this bug but this seems like a pretty important spell to lose for the entire game. It's worth noting that other spells that pop up choices do not have the same issue.

    EDIT: As a test, I downloaded Spell Revisions again and installed in on a completely fresh install with no other mods. The issue is definitely with SR as I was still unable to select the element, there was no pop up of any kind.

    Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise: Someone else once complained about this for the IR Revised thread, and I'm fairly certain the issue is that the the bonus melee damage does actually work regardless of the inventory/character sheet display being incorrect. I believe I tested it out by setting the bonus to 100, seeing that nothing changed, then actually attacked an enemy and they immediately exploded because of the +100 damage.

    I think you are right on both counts, I didn't know that the specific adjustment would only appear in the bottom of the character sheet. I have been using the gauntlets and they seem to be working correctly with damage as well! thank you!

  5. I have an issue with a few of the items in IR not giving the correct bonuses. The Gauntlets of Parrying do nothing, and the Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise only provide +1 to thac0 and no damage bonus. Seems like this has to do with the distinction between melee and ranged bonuses as both have to do with being 'melee only'.

    I do have quite a few mods on this playthrough, and I'm hardly a mod expert, so I'm not sure if it's IR itself or a conflict, though I don't believe I have any other item mods, just standard mods (SCS, tweaks anthology, etc) and a few components of Scales of Balance (but none of the item related components).   6. I'm not sure if this is an issue with my installation or a bug with the mod so I wanted to let you know. I noticed that the melee thac0 bonus for hitting Dex 19+ is not applying when equipping the Dex gauntlets from Item Revisions (+2 DEX). My character has 18 DEX without the gauntlets and at 20 DEX with them equipped - the AC bonus applies but thac0 is unchanged.
