Yes, I can confirm this is the case. It doesn't properly fall back to english for missing polish strings.
I have already started adding missing polish translations, will submit a PR on github when I have something useable. Cheers

Vanilla BG1 EE (no other mods).
Installation for English works fine. Only fails for Polish.
