I'm using v20, the Windows version. After Gavin tells us he's going to take his daughter to the temple of Oghma and he'll meet us there, the game just crashes. Then a message pops up that says that a problem has caused the game to stop working properly, and that Windows will notify me if a solution is found. My operating system is Windows 7, and the game is running in Windows XP (Service Pack 2) compatability mode. If there's been a crash issue with the v20 version, then should I uninstall it and use the beta version instead? If I DO have to reinstall it, then will I also have to start a new game, or can I just use the auto-save file I got when I left the Slums with Gavin to go to the Temple District?

My game also crashes after Gavin talks to Miranda. I'll stay for the whole talk, and then the game crashes when my party goes back to the entrance of the Temple District. My character is a neutral evil mage/thief half-elf, and she meets the requirements for starting a new romance with Gavin. The first thing I did after installing the game was to install the official patch. I don't know if this makes a difference or not, but I do not have Throne of Bhaal installed.
