    Wait, is that really how its supposed to work? They always get multiple stoneskins per single casting in my game. Its actually quite annoying

  2. I am fighting Irenicus in Spellhold, I cast pierce magic on him and it says "spell ineffective". Ok, thats a bit suspicious, but pierce magic is not 100% reliable, I guess he might have Spell trap.

    So I cast Ruby ray of reversal next, and it says "spell ineffective" and i am becoming slightly infuriated.

    I guess he could have Spell trap and spell immunity: alteration... but then I checked the combat log AND I used ctrl+q to get him into my party and he never casted those spells, nor had them active.

    So what excuse could he possibly have to just ignore both of those? Is there some game mechanic I am not aware of? Are these spells not displayed as icons after i use ctrl+q?

     

    I am attaching weidu log, however, I am looking for some explanation related to base game mechanics or SCS. If there is some weird conflict with some other mod then i dont think there is any chance to figure it out anyway.

  3. Hello, I was playing SOA with an older version of SCS and installed the newest one.

    Now many of enemies dont do anything, just stand there. (but when I try to start a new game, the same enemies do fine, attack, cast spells etc)

    Is this a known issue? (I think I once heard you should not install SCS in the middle of a playthrough, but I am not sure where.)

     

    Mostly, I am trying to figure out whether it is going to be OK or whether I should just reinstall the whole game.

     

    Also, assumming this is a known issue: if I finish SOA (i am reasonably close to the end), is it possible that TOB will work fine?

     

    Note: I also have fixpack and a few npc mods but those should be fine with SCS.
